Bandai Namco has kept quiet about which of its games are coming to the Switch 2, but a new rumor suggests that popular 2024 fighting game Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will be among them. This leak originates from eXtas1s, one of the more reliable leakers. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was a huge success in 2024, having sold over 5 million copies to date and earning mostly positive reviews from critics. Considering the game's popularity, it does make a great deal of sense to bring Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero to the Switch 2, so it will be interesting to see if that's what happens.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Rumored for Switch 2

There are other Bandai Namco games that are also rumored for the Switch 2. It's rumored that fellow fighting game Tekken 8 might make the jump to the Switch 2, along with FromSoftware's massive open world game Elden Ring. The Elden Ring Switch 2 rumors actually date back to 2024, when Nash Weedle claimed that the game was in the works for Nintendo's upcoming home console/handheld hybrid. Apparently, the Switch 2 version of Elden Ring will include the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion as part of the package, but fans should take all these claims with a grain of salt for now.

Ultimately, many of these rumored Switch 2 ports will likely depend on how powerful the new console is. Nintendo has not provided detailed specs for the Switch 2 yet, and there have been conflicting reports from insiders about the system's power. All we know for sure is that the Switch 2 is going to be a significant upgrade from the original console and will be able to run more demanding games as a result.
