Switch 1 Games With Upgrade Packs Coming to Switch 2
Several Nintendo Switch games will not receive standalone Switch 2 versions, but will instead offer Upgrade Packs for purchase à la carte. It seems that most games will cost $10 to upgrade, like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, but third-party developers can set whatever price they choose. Fantasy Life i' s Switch 2 upgrade is only going to cost players $2.59, for some reason.
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- Sid Meier's Civ 7
- Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time
- Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma
It's worth noting that Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will have a Switch 2 version as well as an Upgrade Pack.
