As recently reported by the Brazilian journalist Felipe Lima, Take-Two Interactive may have leaked the Switch 2’s physical game case sizes on the French retailer Fnac, which indicates that the boxes will be 5.1 by 7.7 inches (13x19.5 centimeters). The new information was pretty popular among fans, and a gamer called HertzBurst even made an artwork comparing the size of old Nintendo Switch games with the upcoming Switch 2 ones. If the leak is correct, the new box will be slightly bigger than the previous one, but still considerably smaller than the cases used by the PS5 or the Xbox Series X. In any case, it’s best to take the leak with a grain of salt, as these are not official numbers, and actual game case sizes may be different.
