The first year of the Nintendo Switch 2's life continues trucking along with November 2025 shaping up to be the busiest month for the home console/handheld hybrid since launch. The Nintendo Switch 2 launched with Mario Kart World and a little over a month later received the critically-acclaimed 3D platformer Donkey Kong Bananza.

Nintendo has kept the momentum going strong, ensuring that there is always a big game releasing for the Switch 2 every month since June. October 2025 doesn't have much in the way of pure Switch 2 exclusives, but the console was treated to the Pokemon Legends: Z-A Switch 2 version, which boasts superior performance compared to the Switch 1 version of the game.

With October winding down, Nintendo Switch 2 early adopters are no doubt looking ahead to what November 2025 has in store. Based on what's been announced, it seems as though November will be the busiest month for the Switch 2 since the console's launch, with two major pure exclusives joined by a variety of strong third-party games. The Switch 2's November 2025 offerings will kick off with Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment on November 6, to be followed by Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2 on November 13, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero on November 14, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide and Squirrel with a Gun on November 18, and finally, Kirby Air Riders on November 20.

Upcoming Switch 2 Games for November 2025

  • Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment - November 6
  • Yakuza Kiwami - November 13
  • Yakuza Kiwami 2 - November 13
  • Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero - November 14
  • SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide - November 18
  • Squirrel with a Gun - November 18
  • Kirby Air Riders - November 20

For Nintendo fans, the two headliners are no doubt Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment and Kirby Air Riders. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is the latest in the spin-off series that combines Zelda locations and characters with Dynasty Warriors-style musou gameplay, while Kirby Air Riders is the long-awaited sequel to the GameCube cult classic racing game. Age of Imprisonment is a canon prequel to the events of Tears of the Kingdom, which should give it more legitimacy than its predecessors, while Kirby Air Riders is going all out with online multiplayer and brand-new features.

November is clearly going to be a busy month for Nintendo Switch 2 owners, but there's another big game dropping in December. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will launch on December 4 with Switch 1 and Switch 2 versions available. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond on Switch 2 features significant enhancements compared to its Switch 1 counterpart, which should make the newer console the definitive way to experience the game.
