In a surprise update, Nintendo has added four more Game Boy games to the Nintendo Classics lineup. From here on out, Switch Online subscribers can play Game Boy Color game Survival Kids, Gradius: The Interstellar Assault, Kirby's Star Stacker, and The Sword of Hope. Survival Kids is a survival game where players have to survive on a deserted island, while Gradius: The Interstellar Assault is a side-scrolling shooter. List of New Switch Online Game Boy Games

  • Gradius: The Interstellar Assault
  • Kirby's Star Stacker
  • Survival Kids
  • The Sword of Hope

Out of all the new games added to Nintendo Classics, the one that will likely be of most interest is Survival Kids. In Survival Kids, players have to complete tasks typical of survival games, like craft items, build fires, and cook food. The original game was followed by the Lost in Blue series on the Nintendo DS and Wii, with each installment about surviving on an island. The next game in the series is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 as a launch title and is going back to the Survival Kids name.

Survival Kids on the Nintendo Switch 2 is one of the five Switch 2 exclusive launch titles. The new game seems like it will be very similar to the other entries in the series, but with a focus on co-op multiplayer for up to four players. With the OG Survival Kids now available through Switch Online, fans can easily play through the original while they wait for the sequel to drop for the Nintendo Switch 2.
