No Game No Life Has Been Away For Far Too Long

No Game No Life's anime adaptation was announced all the way back in July 2013. The anime debuted in April 2014 and reached its end in June 2014. It had a total of 12 episodes. Additionally, six special episodes have been released so far.

No Game No Life announced a movie adaptation of the sixth light novel in 2016. It was titled No Game No Life: Zero and was released in July 2017. The movie is set 6000 years before the current storyline, and the main voice cast played the ancient counterparts of the normal characters.

No Game No Life Needs To Make A Comeback

No Game No Life is based on a light novel series of the same name. Written by Yuu Kamiya, it began publishing under the MF Bunko J imprint in April 2012. According to reports, the light novel series has sold more than 3 million copies. It would be remiss to not mention that the last sales report is from 2017, so the actual number is much higher.

No Game No Life follows the story of two siblings, Shiro and Sora. Despite being step-siblings, they are close to each other, and they look after one another. No Game No Life delves into the lives of the two as they overcome one challenge after another. Individually, they are flawed, but together they cover each other's shortcomings.

No Game No Life Season 2 has still not been announced.
