No Rest for the Wicked has an assortment of characters that you can interact with, each with a unique personality that distinguishes them from the crowd and makes them easy to remember. Though the characters are a strong point, the story is yet to be developed properly.

How to Unlock Rare Merchant Finley in No Rest for the Wicked
Finley is found on the Nameless Path, inside the decrepit prison, where you’ll find some rotating levers, different cells, and a good number of enemies. You’ll see him in a cell on the north side of the prison, with a route leading to him from the third room.
However, he is behind a locked door, and you’ll need the quarry guard key to get him out. To get it, you need to travel across the broken walls of the prison, up a couple of walls using vines, down a steep cliff, and across a plank into a small cell with a dead guard. Make your way back to Finley’s cell and release him. You’ll initiate a dialogue with him during which he will tell you that “I shall return to Sacrament! You may see me there. But only when I want to be seen.”

Where to Find Rare Merchant Finley in Sacrament
As Finley mentions in his dialogue, he only appears in Sacrament every so often. Unfortunately, this only happens on Saturdays between 8 AM and 12 AM (midnight), in real time. This means you can only find him one day of the week.
During the designated period, you can find him in Sacrament. To reach him, travel to the Rookery and go north, towards the Arena. There, go down the stairs to your west, and you’ll see him next to the stairs you just descended, to your east.
When he’s not there, you will find a note that tells you the time when he will be available.

How to Find Rare Merchant Finley At All Times
The items that Finley sells are quite valuable and rare. He is a vendor of weapons, armor, and rings, though he does charge a significant amount of money. Depending on the tier of equipment, he charges between 2 and 7 silver coins (plus minus a couple dozen coppers). Waiting for him to spawn on Saturday can be a hassle, but there is a way to bring him to Sacrament, no matter what day it is.
Right now, No Rest for the Wicked doesn’t have any online functionality, meaning it doesn’t check that you have the correct time. You can change the time and date on your computer to match his timings, and get him to spawn in the town. Here’s what you need to do:
- Open your settings app from your start menu.
- Click the Time & Language tab and enter the Date & Time submenu.
- Turn off “Set time zone automatically” and “Set time automatically.”
- A small window will pop up underneath the “Set time automatically” option that reads “Set the date and time manually.”
- Click it to open a new window that will let you change the time and date you require. Set it to any recent Saturday past 8 AM.
- Change Steam to offline mode and launch the game.
- Travel to Finley’s location, and you’ll find him there, with all the goods you might need on your next foray into the wilds surrounding Sacrament.
