After Nvidia gave its keynote at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the tech giant revealed that 75 games will support DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation, which is exclusive to the RTX 50 series of graphics cards. The upcoming Nvidia technology will be featured in games such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Cyberpunk 2077, and Marvel Rivals once the RTX 50 GPUs hit the market.

Codenamed Blackwell, the upcoming generation of Nvidia GPUs will build upon what the current Ada Lovelace lineup offers, including enhancements to Nvidia's Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology. Arriving sometime in January, the RTX 50 GPUs will also introduce Multi-Frame Generation, which will increase frames per second (FPS) in supported titles at a faster rate than the current Frame Generation technology. The flagship model of the Blackwell lineup is the RTX 5090. The RTX 5090 has 32GB of GDDR7 video memory and a starting MSRP of $1,999. The RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070 will have respective starting price points of $999, $749, and $549.

With DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation billed as potential game changers, Nvidia revealed all the games that would support it from the start. According to Nvidia, 75 games and apps will include immediate support for DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation once the RTX 50 GPUs are available to consumers. Using Cyberpunk 2077 as an example, Nvidia claimed that, with DLSS and Multi-Frame Generation turned off and full ray tracing turned on, the game would run below 30 FPS on the RTX 5090. With DLSS and Multi-Frame Generation activated, Cyberpunk 2077's frame rate skyrocketed to 236 FPS on the flagship Blackwell GPU.

As for when precisely the RTX 50 graphics cards will be released, no definitive January date was offered by Nvidia at the time of writing. However, some of DLSS 4's enhancements will not be exclusive to the RTX 50 series. Nvidia stated that older cards like the RTX 40 series will have enhanced DLSS features like Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction, and Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing (DLAA). These features will arrive in future Nvidia GeForce driver updates via the Nvidia app or Nvidia's website.

Other upcoming titles like Doom: The Dark Ages will also incorporate Multi-Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction once they are released. All in all, PC gamers looking to upgrade to the RTX 50 lineup will have plenty of features to consider.
