One extremely patient fan of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered spent hours carefully arranging books like dominoes, much to the shock and surprise of the game's community. Since its release in late April, Oblivion Remastered has inspired countless players to attempt a slew of unique and strange challenges, with many of these fans taking to social media to share their accomplishments.

While the game has seen critical and commercial acclaim, not everything has been smooth sailing for Bethesda's latest release. Fans have continued to stumble upon Oblivion Remastered's many odd glitches and bugs, with one player reporting an alchemy glitch that caused a single potion to weigh five pounds and another posting pictures of a supposed ghost horse traversing the wilds of Cyrodiil. Beyond these strange issues, many in the community are choosing to take on their own bizarre challenges rather than tackle Oblivion Remastered's lengthy story, with one player shocking netizens with their incredible endurance.

Oblivion Remastered Players Want One Modern Feature Added to the Game

Gamers playing The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered come together to request that the developers add one modern feature of the popular RPG.

In a recent post made to the Elder Scrolls subreddit, user Muaxh03 shared a video highlighting their recent Oblivion Remastered accomplishment. The brief video shows dozens of books that have been propped up like dominoes on the streets of the Imperial City, which the user then satisfyingly knocks over. While few details are given in the body of the post itself, a dip into the comments section reveals that this took nearly seven hours to complete, and that no mods were used to put the books in place. According to the user, every time they loaded into the game, something broke, and they had to deal with countless glitches or frustrating bugs while attempting this unique feat. Thankfully, they disabled NPCs before any of the game's characters could knock over a single tome.

Oblivion Remastered Player Spent Seven Hours Creating Book Dominoes

Although PC players have encountered some small issues, Oblivion Remastered has seen major performance issues on console, with the standard 60 FPS degrading over time on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Currently, this can only be fixed by closing the game and booting up a fresh save. However, this only works for a brief period, with the problem sometimes cropping up after only 15 minutes of play. The problem may stem from a memory management issue, and it has yet to be addressed by Bethesda.

Currently, Oblivion Remastered's devs are asking for feedback from the community as they continue to roll out patches and updates for the RPG. Many players are eager for the addition of a Photo Mode, while others are hoping for more difficulty options and additional customization options for their character.
