How to Start the Shrine of Boethia Quest in Oblivion Remastered

This shrine is part of the Blood of Daedra main quest in Oblivion Remastered.

Players can find Boethia's Shrine just east of the Imperial City in Oblivion Remastered. Before heading to the shrine, you'll need to pick up a Daedra Heart by eliminating a few enemies within the Oblivion Gates. There is a high chance of finding a Daedra Heart on Dremora and Xivilai enemies. Once you have the item, head to the Shrine of Boethia and offer it to the Daedric Prince.

Boethia will commune and ask players to prove themselves by taking part in his Tournament of Ten Bloods. This will require players to venture into the small Oblivion Gate that leads to Boethia's realm and defeat nine of Boethia's Champions in a battle to the death.

Players need to have strong gear and weapons equipped before facing Boethia's champions in the Tournament of Ten Bloods. Also, make sure to create a quick save before entering the portal, just in case you want to exit the portal and change the equipment.

Defeating Boethia's Champions & Getting the Goldbrand Katana

As previously mentioned, the Tournament of Ten Bloods in Oblivion Remastered consists of nine champions of different races you'll need to defeat, as, according to your in-game race, you'll be considered the tenth warrior. Here's a list of all the warriors you'll face while completing the Shrine of Boethia quest (you'll fight nine of them).

Once you defeat a champion, it's important to loot their bodies for any helpful potions or high-quality loot that you can either use or sell for gold.
