The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered features a huge map with tons of locations to explore and quests to complete. Running from one area to another can only take you so far, as the stamina bar depletes quite quickly. So, it's recommended that players get their hands on a horse to make traveling around the map a lot easier. Now, you can either invest in a good horse at the start or get a free one as soon as you leave the sewer tutorial area.
Oblivion Remastered: Where To Find A Fence
Players will need to find a fence to sell stolen items acquired in Oblivion Remastered, here are the locations for all of them.
How to Get a Free Horse in Oblivion Remastered Early
After players complete the sewer tutorial section of Oblivion Remastered, they'll be able to freely explore the whole map without limitations. However, to do that without tiring your character out, you'll need a horse. Gold can be hard to come by, at least at the start of the game, and horses do cost quite a lot. So, to make things easier on your gold pouch, there's a way to get a free horse.
Head over to the Chestnut Handy Stables located towards the west of Imperial City in Oblivion Remastered. Enter the main building of the stables and talk to Snak gra-Bura, the owner. While talking to them, make sure to select the following dialogs.
- "You've got anything useful for me?"
- "I want horse armor, and a horse too."
- "I'll take any horse. I'm not fussy."
After selecting the right dialog options, they'll give players the Old Nag horse, outfitted with armor, free of charge. However, next time around, they'll outfit any horse with armor for 500 gold. Now players can take their trusty steed anywhere on the map. Just make sure to protect the horse from any enemies around, as if it takes damage, it can die.
Where to Buy a Horse in Oblivion Remastered?
