Knights of the Nine is one of two main story expansions included with Oblivion Remastered. This DLC can act as a perfect refresher course for those returning to Cyrodiil, or a perfect introduction for those new to the world. This is because Knights of the Nine can be completed before you even begin the main story, or any other time you wish. In this guide, we'll show you how to start the Knights of the Nine DLC in Oblivion Remastered.

The Blackwater Blade is a great early-game weapon in Oblivion Remastered capable of paralyzing enemies, and here's how players can get it.
How to Begin the Knights of the Nine DLC in Oblivion Remastered
Complete the Tutorial:
The only prerequisite for starting the Knights of the Nine DLC in Oblivion Remastered is to complete the opening tutorial. Once you do so, you will gain access to the open-world, which is all that is required to begin your pilgrimage.
Visit Anvil:
After you've completed the game's opening tutorial, the next step will be to reach the town of Anvil, which sits in the northwestern corner of Cyrodiil. You'll automatically gain access to the fast-travel ability once you have access to the world, so you'll simply need to select a destination like the Anvil Main Gate, and travel to the location.
Upon arriving in Anvil, you'll want to head to the southeast corner of town. The location you are looking for is the Chapel of Dibella. There has been an attack within the chapel, which sets the events of this story in motion. While you can speak to the guards outside the chapel to get some insight into the situation, your actual target is going to be The Prophet.
If you reach the Chapel of Dibella before dark, you'll hear The Prophet yelling from his location across the street from the chapel. The Prophet will leave his post once the sun has set, so try to speak with him before this occurs.
While speaking with The Prophet, there is one question that seems to stall the quest if you answer it incorrectly. When he asks if you are a worthy knight, make sure to answer as follows:
- "No, I have no claim to fame."
This seems to move the quest along. Once The Prophet is satisfied that you are the person to be trusted with this task, he will give you the Wayshrines Map, which leads to the key locations you'll need to visit. All of these actions are the first steps of what turns out to be the "Pilgrimage" quest, which is the first main quest in the Knights of the Nine DLC.
With the map in hand, and the chapel investigated, you have now officially started the Knights of the Nine.
