The Fighter's Guild is one of the four main factions that players can join in Oblivion Remastered. Unlike several of the other factions, the Fighter's Guild has a very low barrier to entry, and can be completed just about as soon as you complete the tutorial and gain access to the entire map of Cyrodiil. The Fighter's Guild acts as a great first guild for new players, as it shows you how the guild contract and advancement system works without much fuss. In this guide, we'll show you how and where you can join the Fighter's Guild in Oblivion Remastered.
Oblivion Remastered: Where To Store Items
There are a handful of storage containers players can use to store items in Oblivion Remastered, including storage chests within an owned home.
How to Join the Fighter's Guild in Obliivion Remastered
Three Guild Locations:
If you want to join the Fighter's Guild in Oblivion Remastered, you'll have three possible locations where you can get this done. The three cities where this is possible are:
- Chorrol – Speak to Vilena Donton
- Anvil – Speak to Azzan
- Cheydinhal – Speak to Burz gro-Khash
Fighter's Guild Chorrol Location:
Chorrol is a great option for joining the Fighter's Guild, as it is one of the first locations you'll visit if you follow the main quest after completing the tutorial. The town is located west of the Imperial City.
Within Chorrol, you'll find the Fighter's Guild at the northern end of the map. There is a circular roundabout with a large tree in the center at the northern end of the town. The Fighter's Guild building is right at the northernmost point of the roundabout.
Inside the building, you can speak to one of the guild members, but it is not required. You can head directly upstairs, where you'll find Vilena Donton in her chambers. Speak to her, and the option to Join the Fighter's Guild will come up under the list of dialogue options.
Vilena Donton will reveal that, as long as you have a clean criminal record and no bounty, you'll be free to join the Fighter's Guild.
Vilena will tell you that, while you can sign up to join the Fighter's Guild in Chorrol, you'll have to go the the branch in Anvil to take on your first contracts.
Fighter's Guild Anvil Location:
Anvil is located in the southeast corner of Cyrodill, right on the water. If you wish to join the Fighter's Guild in this location, you'll need to visit the Fighter's Guild building that is located just past the large tree you encounter after entering the main gate. The guild building is the building on the left.
To join the Fighter's Guild in Anvil, you'll need to speak to Azzan. If you can't find him on the first floor, his chambers are on the second floor, just off the dining hall. His office is on the third floor. Once you find him, the process for signing up is the same as other cities. As long as you aren't a known criminal with a bounty, you'll be free to sign up.
Azzan can offer contracts to the player once they are members of the Fighter's Guild.
Cheydinhal Fighter's Guild Location:
The final place you can join the Fighter's Guild is in Cheydinhal, the down that sits directly east of the Imperial City. To locate the Fighter's Guild building, enter the town through the west gate. Once inside the gate, follow the main road until just before the covered bridge. Make a right and you'll find the guild hall among the buildings on the right.
Inside, you'll want to speak to Burz gro-Khash. He'll help you join the Fighter's Guild, and will also be available to offer the player Fighter's Guild contracts. This is the final method of Joining the Fighter's Guild in Oblivion Remastered.
