Oblivion Remastered has several major and minor factions in its world that players can join and complete quests for. Order of the Virtuous Blood is one such quest that allows you to join a faction of Vampire Hunters, and lets you get rewards for each time you bring back a trophy. However, before you join the faction, you'll need to complete a quest involving identifying the faction member, who is secretly a vampire.
Oblivion Remastered: How To Get The Ring Of Perfection
Ring of Perfection is arguably the best accessory in Oblivion Remastered that boosts most of your stats by 10, here's how to get it.
How to Start the Order of the Virtuous Blood Quest in Oblivion Remastered
Players can start the Order of the Virtuous Blood quest by simply arriving at the Imperial City Temple District in Oblivion Remastered. After waiting a few minutes here, players will get a visit from Ralsa Norvalo, who'll ask for their help in an urgent matter. You'll be prompted to enter Seridur's House in the same district, where he'll introduce the Order of the Virtuous Blood faction to you.
Before players can join this faction, they'll need to investigate a person accused of being a vampire, Ronald Jenseric. Simply head to Ronald's house and check the little note on the dining table, over a book, to figure out the whereabouts of the alleged vampire. Head to Ronald Jenseric's Cabin, east of the Imperial City, to visit him.
Should You Kill Roland Jenseric or Spare Him?
Upon talking to Ronald, he'll clarify that the real vampire is Seridur, and players must believe him. Here, you'll have a choice to believe Ronald's story and spare him, or call him out on his lie and deliver swift justice.
- If players choose to eliminate Ronald, the quest will end once players return to Seridur to inform him about his death.
- If players choose to spare Ronald, the quest will continue and will allow players to join the faction down the line.
Joining the Order of the Virtuous Blood Faction
If players go with the non-violent option, they can ask Ronald more about Seridur. Ronald will tell players to visit the merchant at the First Edition shop in the Merchant's district of Imperial City. Once you visit the merchant, he'll tell players how Seridur likes to visit the Memorial Cave, and he was under the assumption that some of his loved ones are buried there.
Heading over the Memorial Cave and heading down the dark caverns, players will encounter Seridur, and it will lead to a boss fight with him. After defeating the vampire, return to Ronald to deliver him the good news. Ronald will be relieved to know that he can finally leave the confines of his home, as he's free from the fear of Seridur.
Now, head over to Seridur's House's basement one more time to talk to Ronald. He'll be taking charge of the Order of the Virtuous Blood and making you an honorary member of it. Players will also receive the Ring of Sunfire as a reward for completing the Order of the Virtuous Blood quest in Oblivion Remastered.
