In a recent post on Reddit, tinyflic shared a video of their character crouching around after going through an Oblivion Gate in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered. As they were crouching, the stealth indicator showed a full eye, which meant someone could see them. However, they hadn't gained the attention of any monsters that they could see. The player said they were confused, as there didn't appear to be anyone around at all. However, when they turned around, a human guard ran up and interacted with the player. As it turned out, the player had committed a crime and the dedicated guard had been chasing them for quite a while.

One Oblivion Remastered Guard Went Through an Oblivion Gate to Make an Arrest

The footage showed that the guard was from Skingrad in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, far from where the player was located and through an Oblivion Gate on top of it. In fact, tinyflic even posted an image of the game's map, showing the long journey the guard had been on while following them. Of course, tinyflic chose to resist arrest, which sparked a fight between the player and the guard. After causing a commotion, the denizens of the Oblivion Gate also joined the fight, ganging up on the player. The footage showed tinyflic defeating the guard, but paused before viewers could see what else happened in the Oblivion Gate.

One industry leaker recently claimed that The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered may be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 at some point in the future, as they claimed to know the game was in development for another platform. While unconfirmed, the rumor excited a lot of gamers who seem eager to take the title with them wherever they go. With so much content to enjoy and another potential port on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of the popular RPG.
