Overall, Oblivion Remastered is a very faithful remaster of the original game, for better and for worse. Bethesda and Virtuos have kept a lot of the charming jank that made the original such a classic. A Reddit thread started by user FeatsOfStrength raised the issue of Vincente Valtieri, an NPC who can be met upon joining Oblivion Remastered's Dark Brotherhood. According to the thread, "he now has a weird bloated non-menacing face, in the original his gaunt face made me genuinely afraid of him." Meanwhile, he no longer sleeps like a vampire in the remaster, removing a little of the character's uniqueness. Overall, the user felt that if they had no prior knowledge of Valtieri being a vampire, they would have "just presumed he was a typical ugly Bethesda NPC."
