It's easy to see why Mineko's Night Market has garnered such an impressive crowd considering it markets itself as a game focused on "crafting crafts, eating eats, and catting cats." Story-wise, the titular character, Mineko, is tasked with discovering the secrets of the town and restoring it to its former glory while adjusting to her move from the mainland. On top of this, the strikingly colorful visuals are deeply inspired by Japanese culture and folklore which serve well to emulate East Asian night markets.
