As far as Haki goes, fans have seen Oda give a lot of importance to Conqueror's Haki, especially when it comes to damaging the immortals of the world.

However, neither of these two powers is the ultimate ability in the world of One Piece. It goes without saying that Devil Fruits and Haki are very strong, but Oda has already revealed the strongest power in the One Piece world, and it stems directly from science itself. This power is the Ancient Weapon technology, and Oda is about to unveil its full power soon enough with Ancient Weapon Uranus.

The Ancient Weapons are incredibly powerful tools that exist in the world of One Piece and were created long ago during the Void Century. These weapons were specifically created by the Ancient Kingdom, which possessed tremendous scientific prowess. The first Ancient Weapon that fans were introduced to was Pluton, all the way in Arabasta. It was said to be a giant warship capable of vaporizing an entire island in a single shot.

With such power, Uranus can wipe out any country instantly.

So far, Oda hasn't shown the Ancient Weapon Uranus to the fans fully, but it is only a matter of time before he does. One Piece is in the Final Saga, and more importantly, it must be noted that the World Government have Vegapunk on their side now. In other words, the Motherflame and Ancient Weapon Uranus is officially active.

Secondly, Vegapunk can now make a ton of Motherflame for Imu, which means the true terror of the weapon will be unleashed soon enough. Oda has yet to fully reveal Uranus, but following the events of Elbaf, it should be fully unveiled.

Seeing the power of Ancient Weapons, it's hard to believe that Haki or Devil Fruit can ever compare. They're very strong for sure, but they don't hold a candle to what science can do with Ancient Weapons. Uranus and Pluton can wipe out islands and sink countries. They hold enough power to destroy the world.

At this point, it would be safe to say that the strongest ability in One Piece is the power to control the Ancient Weapons. In other words, science, which Oda has given a ton of exciting importance in the Final Saga, is going to be even bigger than ever before, and those who can control it will officially be considered among the strongest on the seas. It is only a matter of time before Oda fully reveals their absolute maximum power.

This puts extra importance on characters like Shirahoshi, and even Momonosuke, under whose command Pluton can be unleashed upon the world. Then, there is also Imu, who most definitely has access to the Uranus. Of course, Luffy is right there in the midst of it all, as the new Joy Boy.
