7 Southwest Edge Of The Map
Great For Players That Enjoy Fishing
The southwest corner of the open-world map in Once Human, is a lush, water-rich environment. It features plenty of shoreline, as well as a number of rivers that form estuaries in this basin. This makes it a perfect place to live for players who enjoy fishing.

Due to the profusion of water in the area, the player will be able to build a base that sits out on the water, enabling them to build an impressive motte and bailey style construction for their base if they wish. All resources up to aluminum are available locally.
6 Northwest Edge Of The Map
For Players Who Prefer Solitude
Up at the northeast edge of the playing map in Once Human, is a barren desert, with a rocky, almost unpassable landscape. This means that it is not a particularly popular place for players to explore, or to visit to harvest resources.
A player looking for a remote, secluded location won’t find anywhere better than this area of the map. It is quite possible to construct a base on the top of a mountain mesa that can only be reached by climbing up on foot. Be warned though, if a player decides to do this, they will not be able to drive vehicles off the mountain without damaging them.
5 Between Active PvP Zones
For Stealing Fuel
On a PvP server, even players who prefer PvE gameplay can profit by positioning their base between two or even three active PvP zones. The reason for this can be summed up in one word; fuel. Refined fuel is a gated resource that only PvP hives and warbands have direct access to.
But players who live very close to PvP zones, can sneak in, loot the oil derricks, and scoot out with a fair few refined fuel in their inventory. This is much easier and faster than collecting unrefined fuel from car fuel tanks and then refining it at the player’s base.
4 Close To Tall Grass Inn
Easy Access To Iron
Choosing a base location for the end-game in Once Human, will revolve around the goals of the player. However, one thing that almost every player will need to craft in abundance, is ammo. The crafting system is quite harsh when it comes to advanced ammo crafting, requiring rare materials, so steel ammo is the sweet spot.

Once Human has a wide choice of weapons available for players, covering all playstyles from melee combat to sniping.
Choosing a base location that is surrounded by iron nodes does two things. One, it makes crafting huge volumes of steel ammo simple. Secondly, the iron can be forged into steel bars, and sold to NPC stores for Energy Links. Tall Grass Inn is an area with tons of iron nodes dotted around it.
3 Close To Blackfell
End-Game Mission Hub
Towards the end of the storyline quests in Once Human, players will find they are sent on a series of interlinked quests, which require them to visit the Blackfell settlement many times. Therefore, it simply makes sense to locate a base in this region during this part of the game.

This is also an excellent location for an end-game base, as there is easy access to every resource in the area, including titanium. There is plenty of flat land around this area, and some excellent POIs to loot for resources as well.
2 North Blackheart
PvP Central
The northern part of the Blackheart region is pretty barren. Currently, it features just 4 PvP nodes. However, for players who are into PvP, this is where the most action is likely to be. However, this region has more to offer as well.
Northern Blackheart has every resource available, and titanium in abundance. The downside is that there are no POIs close by for PvE combat, and to farm loot boxes and other resources. This region isn’t likely to come into its own until the 4th phase of the game season though, when PvP should really be hotting up.
1 Polluted Zone In Iron River
For Setting Up An Acid Farm
Oddly, acid is the most valuable resource Once Human. It is used for smelting end game ores, and also for crafting ammo. There are a number of ways to get acid in the game, and one of them is setting up an acid farm in a polluted area.
Setting up a base in the polluted zone means that a 
Water Pump will bring up polluted water. This can be converted into acid by following a fairly complex purification and distillation process. However, this is a passive source of acid, and arguably the best way to get this resource.
