Finding the Extradimensional Cat

The Extradimensional Cat can be found in story-based settlements like Deadsville and Meyer's Market. These are the spots where you frequently meet various other Deviants as well.

In Deadsville, look near the main red house. Begin on the ground floor and then move upstairs. Next, inspect the top of the roof. If you don't spot the cat there, you might find it outside. The trick here is to search thoroughly. For Meyer's Market, the cat is often near the central marketplace area. If you have trouble locating it, try exploring different market sections.

If you cannot find the Extradimensional Cat, go to the Teleportation Tower of the settlement and press G to switch to another world. This feature allows you to load into different versions of the game’s environment and gives you more chances to find the cat. Keep switching the worlds spawn the cat as it will most likely take a lot of tries.

Capturing the Extradimensional Cat

Once you find the Extradimensional Cat, carefully approach it and press F to capture it. It may take a couple of tries as the cat will be elusive and might escape.

Your cat provides a unique buff called Cat Snooze, which boosts your health recovery during sleep. Typically, HP is recovered at a rate of 1.5% per second while sleeping. But with the help of a cat, you can restore even faster so that you wake up fresh.

To keep the Extradimensional Cat active and useful, its power must remain high. Place toys near their containment as it increases energy regeneration by up to 20% when the cat sleeps. It’s also important to keep the cat happy. The cat's mood mainly affects its power and not the Cat Snooze buff.
