One such Combat Deviant is Snowsprite, a unique deviation that specializes in dealing ice damage to enemies. Read on to learn how you can get your hands on the Snowsprite Deviant and use it to your advantage in The Way of Winter update in Once Human.
Once Human: How to Get Leftovers
Leftovers are a crafting material in Once Human’s The Way of Winter scenario. Here’s how you can get more of them.
How To Get Snowsprite in Once Human
You can get Snowsprite by completing the Deviant: Snowsprite Quest. This quest is unlocked by speaking to Lowe in Onyx Tundra’s Ice House Camp. Here’s a brief walkthrough of the Snowsprite Deviant Quest:
- After accepting the quest, you’ll need to speak to Ridley and assist him in investigating the Moose City Food Factory. When you reach the factory, you’ll notice that much of it is covered by huge blocks of ice and even certain NPCs are frozen in place.
- To progress, you’ll need to use a fire source, like a Torch or Molotov Cocktail, to melt away the ice and uncover the generator.
- Next, interact with the generator’s console. You’ll be informed that the generator requires a key card to power up.
- The keycard is in the hands of a factory worker who is frozen within a large ice structure. Find this structure and break it with your weapon or Molotov Cocktail. Doing so will free the worker and give you the keycard. Use it to activate the generator.
- Next, you need to walk through the storage till you come across a path that leads underground. This will take you to the basement, where the Snowsprite Deviant is frozen in ice. Use your fire source to melt the ice and capture this Combat Deviant in Once Human.
Once you’ve captured the Snowsprite Deviant, you can boost its mood and power by placing its Securement Unit in a Cold environment with exposure to Green and Blue Lights.
Some players have reported receiving the Snowsprite Deviant as a reward after beating Chaosweaver, a randomly spawning enemy in various locations. However, we haven’t encountered this enemy ourselves, so we can’t confirm this claim.
How To Use Snowsprite in Once Human
Snowsprite is a PvE-focused Combat Deviant that specializes in inflicting Ice damage on enemies. You simply need to designate a target and Snowsprite will shoot ice crystals at them. If there’s no one in front of you, Snowsprite will target any nearby enemies.
Snowsprite also has an auto attack where it can generate ice crystals near enemy targets. However, these crystals remain inactive and do not deal damage until you shatter them. You’ll have to destroy these crystals by shooting them with your weapon. Once shattered, the Ice Crystals will explode, dealing Frost Damage to any enemies caught within the blast radius.
