Meme Points, Memetic Points, or Ciphers, are all the same major currency players will earn as they play Once Human to use on the various Memetic Trees to unlock new upgrades. Most of these upgrades are new crafting materials that let players make better and stronger weapons to deal with the threats throughout the world.
Players will need a lot of Meme points to purchase all the upgrades in the four Memetic Trees, with the cost only increasing as they go. Almost every upgrade requires previous upgrades within the same tree, requiring players to spend a lot of Memetic Points even to just get one specific upgrade.
Once Human: How To Access Rift Anchor
Rift Anchors can be found in most major locations in Once Human; here's how to access and use them.
How To Get Memetic Points In Once Human
The main way players will be getting Meme Points is by leveling up. Every time players level up, they will be given a few Meme Points, with a lot being obtained early on and the pace slowing down as players reach higher levels. Players can also get Meme Points by securing Deviations during a season, or by completing seasonal events, but the most straightforward method will always be leveling up.
There are many upgrades in each tree that just require Meme Points, but others will require players to also get Energy Links. Luckily, these are mostly earned by simply playing the game and progressing the story, which also happens to be a great source of XP. Upon earning XP, a small notification will appear on the left side of the screen indicating how much XP you got. Players can also see how much XP they have until the next level by looking at the top left of the screen when in the inventory.
Once Human: How to Change Worlds
While characters are locked to servers in Once Human, you can still change worlds as needed to team up with others.
How To Level Up Fast In Once Human
- Kill enemies
- Craft materials
- Complete Tasks
- Complete Journey Tasks
While there are many ways to earn XP in Once Human, players will want to maximize their time as some tasks aren't as worthwhile as others in terms of XP. Defeating enemies is a straightforward source of XP that offers decent rewards as long as players continue to tackle harder missions and take on the larger enemies found in major locations.
Completing Journey tasks is an easy way to earn XP, as most of these tasks are completed by just playing the game. Players can pursue these tasks to focus on gaining XP, but as long as you aim to at least try everything the game offers, you'll quickly complete dozens of journey tasks, such as crafting a gun. Players can also go into the Explorer's Guide in the main menu to find the World Tasks list, which all offer large sums of XP when completed. These tasks can be fairly difficult but taking them on with friends will not only be easy but a great source of XP for all who participate.
