Once Human Recurve Crossbow Location

You can find the Recurve Crossbow by opening the Mystical Crate at Evergreen, a small township near the border of the Red Sands and Iron River regions. Evergreen is a level 42 place of interest, and the enemies are densely packed. You'll likely head here next after you beat Shadow Hound in Once Human. Undergeared and under-leveled players can still make a break for the Mystical Crate here, but expect very heavy resistance.

Evergreen's Mystical Crate is located inside the belfry near the center of town. To get there, you need to find the ladder leading to the roof. It's on the south side of the same building that the belfry is in. Go up, jump over the rooftops, and climb your way inside. The Mystical Crate will be waiting for you there.

If you want to make a lower-tier crossbow, you'll need the lower-tier versions of these materials. Given how this weapon usually becomes available when players hit level 30, there should be no need to make a Recurve Crossbow below Tier IV.

Like the other bows and crossbows, this one uses Arrows as ammunition. Normally, we'd highly recommend changing your ammo type to Steel Ammo and using that as your baseline while only using AP ammo when fighting very tough bosses or other players. However, the Recurve Crossbow is more of a support weapon. The damage you deal with this weapon will most likely be irrelevant, and you can freely use Copper or default arrows with little to no consequences.

This is actually one of the best secondary weapons in the game thanks to its special attributes. The Recurve Crossbow inflicts The Bull's Eye whenever you hit a target's weakspot. Not only does this make your victim take 8% more damage from all sources, but you'll also have 30% increased Crit Rate against them for 15s. This is an incredibly powerful buff for an Unstable Bomber DE 50 Jaws build or a Once Human Shrapnel build with the SOCR Last Valor.

The Recurve Crossbow is best used against elites or bosses since it's a single shot weapon with a fairly long reload time. If you're looking to apply The Bull's Eye to many enemies at once, then we recommend using the DE 50 Wildfire instead.
