Once Human has a plethora of cooking recipes available for players who love to playing as a post-apocalyptic chef. Meals in this game aren't just for sustenance — higher quality recipes also grant players buffs and, in the case of Nalcott Easter Eggs, a random dice roll for some possibly epic items.

Nalcott Easter Egg is somewhat of a secret food item that not every player will get the chance to cook. It's not a mandatory recipe to have, but it's great for those who have an abundance of resources. If you're not having much luck getting the items you want from Once Human bosses like Shadow Hound, then opening a Nalcott Easter Egg might just do the trick.

What Are Nalcott Easter Eggs For?

Full description of a Nalcott Easter Egg in Once Human
Once Human Nalcott Easter Egg description

These eggs work much like regular food. It restores 100 Energy and Hydration when eaten, but it also reduces your Sanity by 500. However, the main reason you'll want a Nalcott Easter Egg is that when you open one, you get a random item from the Settlement Loot Crate loot pool. This includes the following:

  • Gold-rarity mods
  • Legendary Weapons and Armor
  • Rare cooking ingredients
  • Ammunition
  • Throwables

The drop rates for each are unclear as of writing, but expect high-value items to be fairly rare. There's also a chance for you to get common items like Acid, Gunpowder, Detoxidents, and other materials that you can easily get from looting buildings. Opening a Nalcott Easter Egg is going to be a gamble, so if you don't want to waste any Stardust Source, we suggest upgrading your weapons in Once Human first.
