Players who want to establish a passive Acid farm in Once Human must place their territories next to water in polluted areas. While fans can use their backpacks to confirm that they are in the presence of pollution, finding a suitable area can still be difficult. For those players who are indeed struggling to locate an area with polluted water in Once Human, this guide contains a map that is sure to be quite helpful.
Polluted water is found in Chalk Peak and Red Sands, and those areas are Level 30+. While it is expected that the vast majority of players who are looking for polluted water will be capable of dealing with enemies at that level, they should make sure they are prepared before setting out to collect the material.
Once Human: A Family Legacy Walkthrough
This guide will help players decipher the Rosetta Researcher's Map and complete A Family Legacy, an optional quest in Once Human.
Once Human: Polluted Water Areas Map
As is indicated on the map that is below, there are four areas that players who are looking for polluted water should target. Three of those areas are within Red Sands, and they are very close to Blackfell, Evergreen, and the Alternate Reality Research Institute. The fourth area is on the west side of Chalk Peak, and it is a good option for players who want to move their territories in Once Human to a more remote location.
Regardless of the area that a player chooses, they should make sure to place their territory close to its body of water. Fans can then place a
Water Pump, which becomes accessible after unlocking a Tier 3 Logistics Memetic in Once Human, into the water and wait for it to extract the polluted liquid.
For full clarity, once a player has started pumping polluted water, they can use an
Osmosis Water Purifier, a Tier 5 Logistics Memetic, to cleanse it. This process yields a byproduct called Impure Acid that fans of survival video games can transform into standard Acid. To perform this transformation, players should simply build a Brewing Barrel (Logistics - Tier 4), place Pure Water into the barrel's top row, place Impure Acid into its middle row, and wait.
It takes a while to convert polluted water into
Acid, and players who need to quickly amass the material may want to try some other methods for farming Acid in Once Human. That said, it is definitely worth getting a passive Acid farm established, as it is almost impossible to have too much of the material.
