The Butterfly's Emissary is a Combat Deviation in Once Human that players will obtain while working through the tutorial. To receive the benefits that are provided by this Deviation, players must summon it, and the way that is done may not be immediately obvious. For those players who are confused about how to summon the butterfly in Once Human, this guide is here to explain exactly how to execute that action.
The process detailed below is applicable to all Deviations in Once Human, not just the 
Butterfly's Emissary. That said, this guide will focus on the butterfly, as it is the first Deviation that players will secure.

Deposit Butterfly's Emissary at Isolated Securement Unit
The first step toward summoning the Butterfly's Emissary is depositing it into an Isolated Securement Unit, a glass case that players will encounter during the tutorial and upon establishing their territories in Once Human. To deposit the Deviation into one of these objects, players must simply approach the Isolated Securement Unit, press "F" to use it, and then right-click "Butterfly's Emissary."
If a player finds that they do not have an Isolated Securement Unit in their territory, they should build one. To do this, fans of free-to-play games should press "B" and then right-click to open the Build Menu. Players should then navigate to the "Facilities" tab, click on "Function Facility," and select the Isolated Securement Unit under "Special."
Sync Butterfly's Emissary to Cradle
After the Deviation has been deposited into the Isolated Securement Unit, players should press "F" to use the facility. This action will give survival game fans access to a screen that provides information about the Butterfly's Emissary, and there is an option to "Sync to Cradle" in the bottom-right corner. Players should pursue that option, either by clicking on "Sync to Cradle" or pressing "F," to cause the Deviation to appear in their backpack.
Summon Butterfly's Emissary
Players can now summon their butterfly by holding "E" and selecting either "Designated Target" or "Auto Attack" from the radial menu that appears. Fans of open world games should now find that the butterfly is hovering in their vicinity, and it will spring into action as soon as they approach an enemy.
The Butterfly's Emissary has a maximum of 100 Deviant Power, which slowly drains while it is summoned. Once the butterfly's power reaches 0, it will automatically return to the backpack to recharge, and players will not be able to use the Deviation again until it is back at 100.
