Scopper Gaban was perhaps the most hyped character who fans had been wanting to see for years. The Elbaf arc officially introduced him into the story and has wasted no time in confirming just how powerful he is and why he's considered to be an equal to Rayleigh to stand alongside the Pirate King. Scopper damaged Sommers at the end of Chapter 1148, prompting many fans to believe that the two would fight. However, in just the starting panels of Chapter 1149, Scopper made short work of the Gods' Knight.

Just as Gunko briefly regained her composure, she rushed to save Brook from his captivity. However, this plan was quickly thwarted in the most unexpected manner, since Imu managed to possess her and make their presence known all across the island.
