One Piece is currently in the Elbaf arc, and so far, it's been filled with nothing but excitement and major lore reveals. Given the pace that Elbaf is going on, it can safely be said that the arc will conclude within two years, keeping in mind Oda’s breaks as well. After the Rocks Flashback, Elbaf will edge closer to the end. With the end of Elbaf, fans will once again see some massive reveals, and among them will be major bounty reveals.
One Piece: Oda Reveals The King Of The World Before Imu
Imu is the current king of the world. That title, however, was held by someone else before them in One Piece.
If there’s one thing fans are always eagerly awaiting, it’s new bounties. While not every arc ushers in new bounties, Elbaf definitely will. Given that the Holy Knights and Imu themself are the threats, Luffy will get his newest bounty update since Wano, pushing him from a 3 billion bounty, to a new figure, which will likely be around 4 billion. Luffy will reach new heights, but he won’t be the only one, as all the other Yonkos are set up for a big bounty increase as well.
Luffy’s Next Bounty Will Surpass The 4 Billion Mark

Luffy had humble beginnings in the East Blue, where he received his first-ever bounty after defeating Arlong. His first bounty was 30,000,000 berries, and it has grown tremendously since then. Luffy’s bounty has consistently been upgraded with every new big villain he takes down, and he reached his current peak after the battle on Onigashima, where he took down Kaido. His bounty skyrocketed to 3 billion berries, but it’s far from where it can truly be.
Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates are currently on Elbaf, which they managed to reach after leaving Egghead, and their next bounty increase is likely to come soon. After Elbaf ends, Luffy’s bounty will most likely increase. Fans expect a new increase of at the very least one billion, which would put Luffy at 4 billion+ berries. Luffy will get this increase by clashing with Imu and potentially beating them in Gunko's body, or beating someone like Domi Reversi'd Loki. This strict defiance of the World Government will put a bigger target on his back.
Say Hello To Sanji's New Haki In One Piece
Sanji is gaining a major power boost in One Piece in the form of a new Haki.
With all that being said, Luffy won’t be the only Yonko whose bounty will grow. All the other Yonko are also set up for a bounty increase. Buggy, with his Cross Guild, are causing chaos, and have even killed Vice Admiral T-Bone recently. Their threat can’t be ignored any longer and they might get newer bounties soon.
Blackbeard, meanwhile, might be behind the major attack on Marijoa. More than that, he recently captured Garp, and his crew all stated themselves they wanted higher bounties. Teach getting a new bounty is a guarantee.
As far as Shanks goes, fans don’t really know what he’s up to at the moment, but it’s known that he is making a move. This move might also lead to a bounty jump where he surpasses the bounties of former Yonko Kaido and Big Mom.
Luffy’s Final Bounty Will Be Even Higher
5.6 Billion Would Make Perfect Sense
4 billion berries is very high for a bounty for Luffy, and it would put him on the level of the average Yonko. However, 4 billion will not be his peak in One Piece. Luffy’s final bounty will be far higher than that, and knowing Oda’s love for puns and number play, it’s almost a given that Luffy’s bounty will be around 5.6 billion.
56 is Luffy’s iconic number which spells the word “Gomu.” 5.6 billion also makes a lot of sense as Roger’s bounty is just under that, at 5,564,800, 000 berries.
5.6 billion would make Luffy the most wanted man in the world, which is befitting of the future Pirate King and the man who will fight and take down Imu.
