This article contains spoilers for the One Piece series.
One Piece has officially entered its final saga, with Egghead being the first arc and Elbaf following it shortly after, and it goes without saying that it has been an amazing ride since. The Elbaf arc of One Piece has been the highlight of the Final Saga so far, with absolutely mind-boggling events, such as Imu appearing as the main antagonist of the arc, and Oda finally showing the fans the God Valley Flashback.
One Piece: 9 Strongest Characters In The Rocks Era
The Rocks era was insane and featured many overpowered characters in One Piece.
While all this is great, there are a lot of other exciting arcs to look forward to after Elbaf, and, undoubtedly, quite a few of them will prove to be far greater than anything seen in One Piece so far, especially as the Great War edges closer.
Pirate Island Arc
The Arc Where Blackbeard Faces The World
Pirate Island is set up to be a pretty big upcoming arc in the One Piece story. For those who have forgotten, Pirate Island is the current residence of the Blackbeard Pirates. The Blackbeard and the Straw Hat Pirates are set up to have a major conflict eventually, and even the Navy will be thrown into the mix.
After all, Blackbeard has captured some important people, such as Garp for the Navy. In fact, even Luffy will want to rescue his grandfather, while Pudding would be an important character to save as well. Luffy has to eventually take on Blackbeard to become the Pirate King.
Lodestar Island Arc
The Final Grand Line Island
Lodestar Island has only been briefly mentioned before, but a lot about this island remains a mystery. One thing that fans know for sure is that it will be very relevant to the overarching story of One Piece. Lodestar Island is the final destination on the Grand Line that one can reach by conventional methods using the Log Pose. It is where Roger learned about the Poneglyphs, and it is where the Straw Hat Pirates would reach if they keep following the Log, so it is inevitable. Just because one can reach it doesn’t mean it’s easy, however, as in the last 800 years, only the Roger Pirates have managed this feat.
Moon Arc
The Truth Of The One Piece World Will be Revealed
The Moon is very important in One Piece, and Oda will reveal all its secrets during One Piece’s final saga. The Moon in One Piece was once inhabited and might harbor the truth about the world. Currently, Enel is on the moon, and he will be very relevant during the Moon arc when it happens.
One Piece: 7 Characters That Can Defeat Garling Figarland
Garling Figarland is strong, but he is outclassed by these One Piece characters.
Given that the Winged races of the One Piece world are from the moon, and the fact that ancient technology that connects to the Motherflame also comes from there, what the characters will discover here will be huge, and more history about the Lunarians and the D clan will be unveiled.
New Marineford Arc
A New Rescue Arc for Garp Or Luffy
Marineford was One Piece’s peak, and the manga reached its highest sales as Oda created one of the craziest wars in manga history. Nevertheless, a war bigger than that which will mirror Marineford could come in the Final Saga, only this one could be held in New Marineford
Just like Marineford, a huge rescue arc might unfold. The basis for the arc is simple: Rocks stated that before attacking the World Government, he wanted to destroy the Navy. In other words, Blackbeard could target the Navy soon, especially when the Revolutionary Army is keeping it busy. Then, Garp could be up for execution, just like Ace was in Marineford. Blackbeard and the World Government might take center stage.
Laugh Tale Arc
The Arc Where Luffy Becomes the Pirate King
Laugh Tale is the true Final Island in One Piece past Lodestar Island, and it will be the place for one of the most important flashbacks to unfold. Only one crew has ever reached this island before, and that's the Roger Pirates. This island hides the One Piece, and whoever finds it will become the Pirate King. This could be where a big battle between all the Pirate King candidates unfolds, and Luffy will be central to it. This island will reveal the biggest secret since the beginning of the series.
Great War Arc
The World Government Will Fall
Oda is planning for a huge war in One Piece’s final saga, one so big that even Marineford looks like child’s play in comparison. The Great War arc will see Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates take on the final antagonist of One Piece, and that's Imu. Luffy will be joined by all his allies in this battle against the World Government, and unlike Joy Boy before him, he will succeed in defeating Imu once and for all.
Post-War Arc
The Final Arc of One Piece
With the final war of One Piece over and Luffy having become the Pirate King, one more thing that Oda will most likely have in reserve will be the post-war arc. This arc will showcase the fate of the Straw Hat Pirates and all the other characters, as well as how the final war shaped the world itself following the fall of the World Government. This arc will mark the end of the One Piece series as a whole.
