The Egghead arc is the first arc in the Final Saga of One Piece. It was expected to just lay the groundwork for the future arcs, but Eiichiro Oda had other plans in mind. The author brought out the big guns, which increased the hype around the arc significantly.
The Egghead arc featured the return of many old characters, some of whom will play a crucial role in the future. However, most fans were excited to see fresh faces. While all newer characters have unique qualities, not all of them will have the same impact on the audience.
6 The Five Elders
The Godheads Of The World Government Were Finally Involved In Action
- Devil Fruit: No
- Haki: Yes
The Five Elders made their debut fairly early in One Piece, but fans had almost zero knowledge about them. Even their names were unknown, but this changed in the Egghead arc. The Five Elders do not seem to have any kind of moral compass whatsoever. All of them have been involved in various atrocities that led to the deaths of thousands of people. It was also confirmed that the Five Elders were powerful warriors who could morph into Yokai and use their powers.
The Five Elders can also use Conqueror's Haki, and they can use it to knock out faraway people. The pentad has other unique powers, such as high regeneration, toughened outer skin, incredible agility, etc. Now that their abilities are out in the open, One Piece fans know what they can expect from the Five Elders in the future arcs.
5 Emet
An Extraordinary Creation By The People Of The Great Kingdom
- Devil Fruit: No
- Haki: Yes (stored)
Emet was originally introduced as the Iron Giant. It was created almost 900 years ago, before the Void Century. It grabbed the attention of the World Government when it attacked Marijoa 200 years ago, after which it was to be destroyed. However, it was kept on Egghead, where it stayed until it heard the Drums of Liberation from Luffy.
Despite being a robot, Emet appears to be fully sentient. After gaining consciousness, Emet reminisced about its time with Joy Boy and was even regretful of not being able to achieve its goal. Emet's flashbacks with Joy Boy have also been wholesome, and it seems that the two were close to each other. In fact, Joy Boy sealed his powerful Haki inside Emet to help it get out of trouble.
4 Ginny
Lived A Rollercoaster Of A Life
- Devil Fruit: No
- Haki: Yes (likely)
Ginny is the mother of Jewelry Bonney, who lived many years before the current timeline. She was enslaved at the age of just four. Ginny found her way to freedom during the God Valley Incident, and it is also where she met Bartholomew Kuma. The two managed to escape from the island and began a new life. At one point, Ginny and Kuma joined the Revolutionary Army. Ginny became the commander of the Eastern Forces, and she stayed with the organization until her kidnapping.
Ginny's abduction changed her life for the worse; she was treated horribly and even contracted an incurable disease. She put on a brave face even when she was suffering and tried to be considerate towards others. Ginny's story shows how sometimes a person's life can change in an instant.
3 Doll
A Strong Willed Marine Who Is Ready To Go All Out For Justice
- Devil Fruit: No
- Haki: Yes
Doll is a Marine Vice Admiral who is also the commander of the G-14 base. She was one of the nine Vice Admirals chosen to participate in the Egghead Incident. Doll won over the audience with her character design. She sports short hair with bangs, and her clothes include black leather pants and a black short-sleeved top.
When it comes to personality, Doll is somewhere between cruel and kind. For instance, she couldn't stand Helmeppo's constant whining about Kong's disappearance. At the same time, she made sure to give balloons to the children saved from Punk Hazard. Doll also possesses incredibly strong Armament Haki and she can emit it from a distance. Furthermore, her physical strength is absolutely phenomenal, as evidenced by her pummelling of a giant.
2 Lilith
The First Satellite To Make Her Debut In The Arc
- Devil Fruit: No
- Haki: No
Aside from Stella, there are a total of six satellites, which represent the main body's emotions. Each satellite was fully sentient and free to do whatever they wanted. Lilith was the first satellite to appear in the arc, and she was the personification of Vegapunk's evil side.
Lilith is bold and often tries to use her standing to bully others. But she is not completely malevolent. Lilith has proven that she cares about her fellow satellites. She has even put her own life at risk to save others. All these qualities make Lilith an interesting character.
1 Stella
- Devil Fruit: Yes
- Haki: No
Stella is the main body of Dr. Vegapunk. After being mentioned countless times in the story, the genius scientist finally made his full-fledged appearance in the Egghead arc. Vegapunk's design is rather unique, which compliments his eccentric personality.
Unlike most people associated with the World Government, Vegapunk has a strong moral compass, and he cares about finding the truth. Sadly, his curiosity led to his demise and unleashed the wrath of the Five Elders upon him. However, Vegapunk did have the last laugh, as he managed to make a major announcement about the things that he had uncovered during his research. Given all that he has done for the sake of the world, there is no doubt that Vegapunk's legacy will live on forever.
