8 Fashion Show Outfit

Sanji is such an elegant character that he has even worn fashionable outfits in non-canon material, like in the Episode of Luffy TV special. At the very beginning of the episode, the Straw Hat Pirates host a mock fashion show, where he gets the chance to display a really solid new suit.
Suits are Sanji’s main choice of clothing, so it’s always refreshing to see him wear one with different patterns and colors. On this occasion, he can be seen wearing a purple suit with small skull symbols and a black-and-white checkered shirt underneath. This makes him look great, not only during the fashion show but during the entire TV special.

In this movie’s climactic third act, the Straw Hat Pirates put on a bunch of red clothes for their final battle against Z and the Neo Marines. Sanji’s outfit in particular looks amazing. The red pants and white shirt complement each other perfectly, and the puffy black cape helps him look intimidating.
But the guns are the best aspect of Sanji’s third outfit in Film: Z, because they work as a reference to one of his scrapped concepts. Before writing One Piece, Eichiro Oda originally conceived Sanji as a suave gunslinger. So, this outfit makes him look like a dangerous cowboy while also functioning as a clever nod to an unused idea.

Sanji was forced to wear the Germa 66 raid suit at several points during the Wano Country Arc. This is an amazing appearance for him, as the cape, boots, glasses and everything else make him look like a threatening super villain while also giving him the ability to turn himself invisible. It’s both fashionable and useful.
But Sanji actually despises his Germa 66 heritage, to the point that he rejects the Stealth Black pseudonym in favor of Soba Mask, a name that fits his heroic nature way better. Nevertheless, Sanji ended up destroying his raid suit because he didn’t want to keep using his father’s technology in front of Queen. So, even though he looked amazing while wearing it, this final action was completely in character for him.

There are two prominent elements about Sanji’s character: He is elegant, and he’s a hopeless romantic. So, when it was finally time for his wedding to Charlotte Pudding during the Whole Cake Island Arc, he dressed for the occasion, even if he knew that the wedding was actually a trap.
The all-white tuxedo looked incredible on him, and even though he needed to take off different parts of this outfit throughout the rest of the arc, he still managed to look quite fashionable while performing actions like fighting or cooking. If someday Sanji eventually marries a someone for real, he will most likely repeat this solid look.

Sanji may have worn many different suits over the course of the series, but not many of them can beat his original one. Furthermore, he may be the Straw Hat Pirate who physically changed the least after the 2 year timeskip, because his new look was almost identical to his original one. Sanji now wears a slightly lighter suit and a yellow shirt, but it still looks perfect on him because the colors complement each other very well. With this new outfit, he was ready for his adventure in the New World.

A lot of aspects of his character are designed around tropes from spy movies and mafia movies, so it makes a lot of sense that this outfit makes him look like a respected mafia boss.

After many years, longtime One Piece fans discovered that Sanji’s last name is Vinsmoke and that he’s actually a member of the Germa 66 Kingdom’s royal family. So, when he arrived in Totto Land in order to get married to Charlote Pudding, he wore an absolutely stunning royal outfit that instantly became a new fan-favorite.
The loose white shirt with the black pants is already a solid and elegant combination for him, but the addition of the red cape takes it to a whole new level. With this attire, Sanji legitimately looks like royalty, and he also looks like a superhero, which may have been 100% intentional due to Germa 66’s design inspirations. Lastly, Sanji was wearing this when he attacked Monkey D. Luffy in one of the series’ most emotional moments, which helped it become even more memorable in the eyes of the fans.
