As previously stated, a domain was registered that implied a remake for Katekyō Hitman Reborn could be in the works. At the time of writing, there hasn't been any official update. However, it doesn't mean that the possibility of a remake is completely untrue. Not so long ago, a domain was registered for the Sekiro anime, but none of the official accounts made any statement regarding it. Instead of panicking, fans simply waited for a while, and they got what they wanted. The Sekiro anime adaptation was announced, and it was confirmed that the series would air in 2026. Katekyō Hitman Reborn is going to follow a similar pattern, so fans need to remain patient until an announcement is made.

Due to the lack of any announcement, it is hard to guess which studio will remake the anime, as Artland has been defunct since 2015. Fortunately, there are a ton of anime studios who are more than capable of producing an excellent remake of the famed Reborn series. Fans' main worry will be that the studio is able to recreate the magic of the original anime.

Clearly down on luck, his life changes for the better when he encounters Reborn, an enigmatic individual who is later revealed to be a powerful hitman with ties to the infamous Vongola family.

The One Piece Remake Is In Production

Speaking of remakes, it's hard not to mention The One Piece, which is being produced by Wit Studio. The project was announced all the way back in 2023, but since then, updates have been limited. The studio did reveal some of the designs and character sheets, but it has yet to share a new teaser or a proper trailer with the fans. The decision to release the One Piece remake did not go down well with some fans, and they deemed it disrespectful to the original, especially since it's airing. Thankfully, they are in the minority.

Fans who have enough resolve can sit through it, but for newcomers, it's not easy to watch more than 1100 episodes, which could easily be compressed to 500–600 episodes or maybe lower.

Wit Studio's goal is to produce an adaptation that has much better pacing than the original, allowing fans to catch up to the story much quicker. Of course, Wit Studio is going to add new music, which is another problem associated with the One Piece anime. The sound effects are outdated, and they don't have the impact that they used to. Lastly, the animation quality will also be improved in the remake.

The thought of the One Piece anime being better is truly exciting, which is why fans are looking forward to its release. It might not be long before fans receive news regarding the remake, as One Piece is already teasing a major announcement for the upcoming Jump Festa 2026.
