One Piece is the Biggest Manga Series in the World

It’s Anime Is Also Amazing

One of the most well-known anime series in the world, One Piece is an absolute phenomenon and fans know that it reigns supreme as the king right now.

One Piece’s popularity cannot be understated. After all, this story is the best-selling manga in the world, and even one of the best-selling works in the world, in general. This is no easy feat to achieve, and is a testament to Oda’s story writing and worldbuilding. Being able to keep fans invested in a story for almost three decades is no easy task.

While the manga is phenomenal, One Piece’s anime isn't always subject to praise. That said, in recent years, it has definitely reached a new level, specifically during the Wano Arc. The anime’s quality, despite being a weekly series, is quite impressive, and has amassed massive viewership.

However, despite all that, it was just beaten by a new series when it comes to some streaming platforms.

The Apothecary Diaries Surpassed One Piece As the Most Streamed Anime in Paid Subscription Streaming Services

TAD Also Beat Squid Game

One Piece has, and will always be, big, but sometimes, other series do surpass it. This time, The Apothecary Diaries has, surprisingly, beaten One Piece in one department — streams on paid subscription streaming services. This holds true only for Japan.
