One Piece continues its exciting Elbaf run after returning from the break earlier this month and fans who were eagerly waiting for One Piece chapter 1144, especially since it marked 100 chapters since the Gear 5 chapter, were truly in for a treat. One Piece continued to heat up this week, and Oda revealed a ton of exciting lore about the history of the One Piece world, and at the same time, some major advancements when it comes to the attack of the Holy Knights that is currently taking place across the country as well.

Things are looking incredibly intense and it is safe to say that the biggest setup for the war is already done now. One Piece chapter 1144 might not have shown much action, but it was truly one for the history books.

Oda Shows A Relic From 3000 Years Ago

One Piece chapter 1144 began on a rather surprising note as fans got to see Ripley and Franky once again. The last time fans saw these two, they were told about Elbaf's biggest weaknesses being fire and lightning, and shortly before that, Oda unveiled the legendary mural that was carved into the bark of the Adam Tree by some child 800 years ago. In One Piece chapter 1144, things were just as exciting as fans got to see Franky discover a giant scientific facility on the Adam Tree. Based on what Ripley mentioned, this facility has been there for a very long time. In fact, even the Giants themself don't know how long the facility has been there for as it is a mystery to even them.

What's mostly interesting here is the fact that this facility actually looks like the head of an Iron Giant that existed long ago. It almost feels as if a facility is carved into the body of the Giant, whole the giant itself is at rest. It is, in many ways, similar to the Iron Giant that the fans saw on Egghead, only this one is far more primitive and cannot function anymore.

Fans also got to see Vegapunk Lilith and Bonney in One Piece chapter 1144. It appears that they've been exploring the place and what's on the inside is actually far more fascinating than what's outside, even though it is estimated to be around 3000 years old, which raises the curiosity among the fans even more. Meanwhile, Fenrir attacked Saul around the Walrus School, and Nidhoggr, Ghost, and Loki were seen attacking the Giant villages, even managing to overwhelm them. Truly, the ability to manifest someone's fears is a fascinating ability that can bring down nations and Oda highlighted just how special Saint Killingham truly is.

The Big Guns Are Finally Out in One Piece 1144

One Piece chapter 1144 was quite short and was mostly centered around the fears of the children attacking those around them. While the Elbaf Giants were eventually overwhelmed by the beasts, Dorry and Brogy finally entered the battlefield on the Great Eirik, Svalr model.

They launched a powerful Hakoku Sovereignty, eliminating Nidhoggr, Ghost, and Loki in a single blow, and that certainly paints quite a picture of their strength.

At the same time, fans also saw the Mountain Eater, Scopper Gaban on their ship as well. Merely upon seeing Gaban, the Giants rejoiced, exclaiming that now, their victory is simply guaranteed.

Thankfully, One Piece isn't going to be on any breaks moving forward, which means that this battle is going to get more intense next week, and fans truly can't wait for that.
