This article contains spoilers for the One Piece series.
The One Piece series is huge, spanning over a thousand chapters. In over 28 years of serialization, Eiichiro Oda, the creator, has introduced quite a huge number of Devil Fruits, some of which are rather tame, while some others are, undoubtedly, insanely broken. The most broken Devil Fruit known so far is definitely Imu’s. But while it’s strong, there are a few characters with Devil Fruits that can compare, including the likes wielded by Luffy and Blackbeard.
One Piece: 5 Rocks Pirates Members Who Became Yonko Level
The Rocks pirates were strong, but not all their members were equal. Some of the members are Yonko-level in One Piece.
Gura Gura no Mi
- User: Whitebeard (formerly), Blackbeard
- Type: Paramecia
The Gura Gura no Mi is, undoubtedly, one of the most broken Devil Fruits in One Piece. This Devil Fruit, which belongs to the Paramecia category, has the insane ability to cause tremors, and in turn, earthquakes.
This is the only Devil Fruit in the series that has been stated to have the power to destroy the whole world. It used to be wielded by the world’s strongest man, Whitebeard, but currently, it’s in the hand of Blackbeard, who is only after the very best fruits.
Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika
- User: Monkey D. Luffy
- Type: Mythical Zoan
Luffy’s Devil Fruit had a huge hidden secret. Previously, fans thought it was a Paramecia fruit, known as the Gomu Gomu no Mi, but in Wano, its true name was revealed to be the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika — a Mythical Zoan.
This fruit, when awakened, grants its user the power to turn into the One Piece deity, Nika. This fruit has no limits, using the power of freedom. If one Devil Fruit can defeat and take down Imu, it’s definitely this one.
Loki's Legendary Devil Fruit
- User: Loki
- Type: Unknown
Loki is a phenomenal character who has been properly introduced only recently in Elbaf, and yet, much remains a mystery about him. Loki has made some claims, such as having the legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaf and being the Sun God Nika.
Fans know this isn’t possible, since that fruit is with Luffy. However, this doesn’t mean that Loki can't have a broken Devil Fruit, possibly another god-like Mythical Zoan.
Yami Yami no Mi
- User: Blackbeard
- Type: Logia
The Yami Yami no Mi is the most insane Devil Fruit that falls under the Logia category. This Devil Fruit uses the powers of darkness, which allows its user to absorb other Devil Fruit abilities, rendering them unusable when in contact with them.
One Piece: 7 Greatest Living Legends In The Current Era
Old, but powerful legends are still living and thriving in One Piece, such as Gaban, Rayleigh, and these other characters.
This is broken, and currently, its user is Blackbeard. Blackbeard has big plans for this Devil Fruit, some of which could definitely involve Imu.
Ope Ope no Mi
- User: Trafalgar D. Water Law
- Type: Paramecia
The Ope Ope no Mi is, perhaps, the most versatile Devil Fruit in One Piece. Currently, Trafalgar Law has it, and its powers are simply broken. It allows the user to operate on anyone within the ROOMs created, as well as do things like soul switching, teleportation, and even granting immortality.
The immortality part is definitely what takes its powers to a whole other level, and puts it in a league comparable to Imu’s Devil Fruit.
Soru Soru no Mi
- User: Mother Carmel (formerly), Big Mom
- Type: Paramecia
Big Mom was a powerful member of the Yonko. She had her might physical strength at her disposal, but she also relied on her broken Devil Fruit, the Soru Soru no Mi, or the Soul Soul Fruit.
This Devil Fruit grants her the ability to take and use souls in various ways. Curiously, this Devil Fruit might be the most similar to Imu’s. After all, Imu’s powers also work with souls, such as the demonic contract.
Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryuu
- User: Kaido
- Type: Mythical Zoan
Kaido’s Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryuu, is, undoubtedly, one of the very best Zoan Devil Fruits in One Piece. This Devil Fruit allows its user to turn into a mythical creature—an eastern dragon.
Kaido showed in Wano just how powerful this fruit can be, as it kept up with Luffy’s Nika form. This Devil Fruit’s offensive and defensive powers definitely put it close to Imu’s own Devil Fruit.
