Sanji and Killingham may fight due to their connection as cooks.

Fans are currently in disagreement about which of the Gods' Knights Sanji will face since he seems to have connections with both of them, such as his and St. Sommer's obsession with love or his and St. Killingham's role as cooks. He and the latter are shown to be the cooks for their respective organizations, something which could be seen when Killingham made the 'dream food' for Sommers and Gunko earlier on in the arc. Due to this, most fans are generally in agreement that this will be Sanji's ultimate match-up.

Many argue that, typically, Zoro tends to fight the stronger subordinates in a story arc, but the way that Elbaf is going seems to indicate that Killingham may be Sanji's opponent and that he may even be stronger than Sommers. Having Sanji defeat him would be the perfect way to equalize his bounty with Zoro since he would defeat someone stronger than his rival's opponent. Plus, Chapter 1151 proved that Scopper believed himself to be stronger than Rayleigh, so such an equal level of power may await Sanji and Zoro as well.

Zoro and Sommers may fight due to their connections as seconds and swordsmen.

Speculation arose about Zoro's eventual Elbaf opponent as soon as St. Shepherd Sommers debuted in Chapter 1140. As stated previously, his Devil Fruit power isn't quite as strong as Killingham's, but the way he was speaking to Shamrock definitely seemed to imply a second-in-command kind of role within the Gods' Knights, similar to how Zoro is within the Straw Hats, making them parallels that could battle it out on Elbaf. Interestingly, while it may seem simple, Sommer's Devil Fruit is incredibly powerful.

On top of that, he seems to be a superb user of the power, which makes all the difference in One Piece since some powerful characters with relatively basic fruits have mastered them to a level of lethality, such as Katakuri or Robin. St. Sommers has also been shown to wield a powerful sword which he can imbue with Haki as well as his iron-like thorns, which puts him as the resident swordsman within the Gods' Knights who would be the perfect opponent for Zoro to defeat at the end of the arc.

Luffy will fight Imu due to Nika and Imu being ancient foes.

Unlike the case with Zoro and Sanji, who could honestly battle against either of the remaining Gods' Knights, Luffy is the only one who can even remotely stand up to Imu right now, who has possessed the body of Gunko on Elbaf. Prior to their debut, the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika was the most powerful Devil Fruit that fans knew of, but now, seeing the insane abilities that Imu has, their power is definitely the greatest in the series if it indeed comes from a Devil Fruit, which even Luffy may not be able to counter.

However, Luffy is the only one who can stand up to this villain, even though many currently believe he still has a long way to go to provide any kind of challenge for Imu. Due to him currently being far weaker than the main foe of the arc, many believe that Loki, with his mysterious Nika fruit, will assist him in taking down this legendary enemy, signifying the prophesied alliance between Nika and the Giants. Although he will likely be preoccupied with dealing with Dorry and Brogy, he may come in at the last moment to help Luffy drive Imu out of Elbaf.
