As fans know, Zoro is one of Luffy's strongest men, and he's most certainly going to be involved in big battles in the Elbaf arc. In fact, with the recent revelations, it is already clear to see that Zoro has extraordinary potential, and all he needs to do to bring it out is to fight and train more. Oda has already confirmed Zoro's next Elbaf Power-Up in One Piece chapter 1152, and now, it is confirmed that Elbaf will be his most important arc in the story so far.

Zoro growing stronger in Elbaf doesn't come as a surprise to anyone. After all, he challenges his own self every arc and then breaks through his limits. While Egghead wasn't much of an exciting arc for Zoro, given that he was off screened for a good portion of it, fans know for a fact that Elbaf will be different. In One Piece chapter 1152, Oda confirmed that Zoro will be key in the upcoming battle against the Holy Knights in the Sun World of the country. This is because Zoro possesses Conqueror's Haki, a very strong weapon that is absolutely needed to beat the Holy Knights, the Five Elders, and even someone like Imu.

Zoro already showed his Conqueror's Haki in the Wano and the Egghead arcs, but he is yet to understand what this power truly is. This greatly limits Zoro and that's why he is so far from Luffy at the moment. Oda went on to confirm Zoro's next big power-up in the Elbaf arc, and it is now clear to see that he will have to train his Conqueror's Haki in this arc. Without it, Zoro most certainly won't fulfill his goals.

More specifically, Zoro will have to learn how to use an advanced application of Conqueror's Haki that would allow him to damage the likes of the Holy Knights and the Five Elders. This constitutes Zoro's next Power-Up, making him stronger than ever before.

Zoro Will Finally Be Able To Challenge The Yonko Level Characters

Zoro Should Reach Rooftop Luffy's Level In Elbaf

At this point, Zoro is strong, but he isn't powerful enough to fight a proper battle with a Yonko. For that, he's still too weak. However, after Elbaf, Zoro will, at the very least, be able to hold his own for a few minutes against the Yonko. Zoro's Haki power post Elbaf should be similar to Luffy in One Piece chapter 1010, meaning he should be able to hold his own against a Yonko, and later down the line, even split skies with them, a true signifier of the entry Yonko level characters.

This would also put Zoro closer to Mihawk, and fans know very well that he should be able to fight him after the Elbaf arc.
