One Piece: Oda Has Revealed The Biggest Power In The Series, And It's Not Haki Or Devil Fruit
Oda reveals a major power in the One Piece series, and it's neither devil fruit nor haki.
As such, fans can tell that the end of One Piece is closing in. Naturally, fans would want to know what the future of the One Piece franchise is once the main story wraps up, and Oda has actually shed light on it already.
One Piece Is About To End With The Final Saga
- The Final Saga Began With Egghead
- One Piece Is In Elbaf Right Now
At the moment, One Piece is in the Final Saga. Long ago, before Wano had even begun, Oda made it clear to all the fans that after the end of the Wano Country arc, the story would be entering the final phase. He kept true to that promise as right after Wano, the Final Saga began officially. The very first arc of One Piece's Final Saga was Egghead, which ended with quite a phenomenal conclusion. Fans thoroughly loved this story arc, and it goes without saying that it shattered all expectations, and more importantly, set the stage for even bigger and more exciting things to come.

After the end of Egghead, fans got Elbaf, which was one of the most awaited arcs for many. Elbaf is ongoing in the manga right now, and it will most likely continue for a while. As mentioned by Oda himself, Elbaf itself is a prelude to even greater things, more specifically the Great War that is about to break out. Once the Great War breaks out, the story will be closer than ever to ending, and eventually, Oda will pull the curtains on it. With that, One Piece will come to a close. But, fans shouldn't be too worried as Oda plans on dropping more One Piece content after the end of the manga.
Oda Wants To Draw More Spin-off Stories
Oda Plans To Draw A Story About The Revolutionary Army and Marines
It is no surprise to know that Oda wants One Piece to continue even after the main story ends. Authors often drop extra content and it's great for the fans as well. Oda has specifically mentioned in the past that he wants to draw One Piece spin-offs, which means that the story has the potential for continuation even after the end. Here's what Oda had to say about One Piece's spin-offs:
About spin-offs, I came up with a magnificent story about Garp. I'd like to draw his relationship with Akainu, Aokiji, Smoker, Hina, Coby, Cipher Pol, and Roger. Other than that, the Revolutionary Army spin-off focusing on Dragon would be interesting and serious. — Eiichiro Oda, 2018
