While it goes without saying that One Piece's latest stretch of episodes has been nothing short of amazing, fans will be saddened to know that this run will now be disrupted as the anime is going on a break. On November 23, 2025, fans won't get a new One Piece episode, and will be met with a recap episode instead. The One Piece anime should be returning in a week, so the story of the Egghead arc hurtles towards its conclusion.

The One Piece Anime Is Going On Break On November 23

If there’s one problem that the One Piece anime fans have had to deal with this year, it's the consistent breaks that Toei Animation has thrown their way. Indeed, this year, ever since returning from the 6-month hiatus, the One Piece anime has been taking a break about once a month, and sometimes even more frequently.

Fans get to enjoy about 3 episodes a month, and now, the next One Piece anime break has been confirmed. The upcoming episode, One Piece Episode 1151, which was supposed to drop on November 23, 2025, has been delayed. This episode was supposed to be one of the most exciting ones of the Egghead arc, so fans are definitely disappointed.

Instead of One Piece episode 1151, fans now have a recap episode to look forward to, assuming they plan to tune in. This recap episode will feature Chopper, as usual. The filler episode will go on to talk about Vegapunk, in case any fan of the series needs a refresher on who this individual is.

The One Piece Anime Will Make A Comeback On November 30

With the One Piece anime going on break, fans are wondering when to expect the anime’s return with episode 1151. The upcoming break is going to span over two weeks, meaning the episode will be pushed back by 1 week. Instead of November 23, 2025, One Piece Episode 1151 will be released on the weekend after, on November 30, 2025.

In other words, One Piece 1151 will be the final episode of November, marking a 3-episode release for this month, compared to just 2 in October.

One Piece episode 1150 will drop later this week. The One Piece series can be found in its entirety to watch on Crunchyroll, with the next One Piece episode coming in one week on Sunday as scheduled.
