One Piece has its fair share of powerful swordsmen, and as is the case with most top-tier fighters, utilizing strong Haki is just as necessary as honing sword skills. Of course, some swordsmen in One Piece have tremendous proficiency when it comes to the art of the blade, but others possess stronger Haki. Given that many of the top tiers of the One Piece world wield a blade, Oda has given the fans a good look at some monstrously powerful Haki-wielding swordsmen. Fans have already seen some of them in a room, while others have been strongly hinted at by the narrative of One Piece.

Shamrock Figarland

Shamrock and Gunko in Elbaf - One Piece

Shamrock Figarland was recently revealed in Elbaf, and to many fans’ shock, he is Shanks’s secret twin brother. Sadly, Shamrock left Elbaf, so it probably will be a while until he is seen in full action.

Nevertheless, being Shanks’s brother and the Captain of the Holy Knights, it is a given that Shamrock Figarland is very powerful. He wields a blade called Cerberus, and his powers are portrayed as being over Loki, with impressive Haki.

Garling Figarland

St. Figarland Garling

Garling Figarland is the father of Yonko Shanks and Holy Knight Shamrock. Garling, although previously just a Holy Knight, has since been promoted to Gorosei, following the events of Egghead.

Fans have yet to see Garling go all out, but he must have grown tremendously since the events of God Valley. He wields a Powerful blade, and his Haki was strong enough to see him compete with Rocks, although he lost terribly.

Dracule Mihawk

Mihawk is known as the World’s strongest Swordsman. This is quite a prestigious title, and one that many other swordsmen look to take by defeating him. Mihawk’s time to shine has yet to arrive in One Piece, so it’s hard to say just how strong his Haki really is.

However, knowing his Supreme Grade sword Yoru is blackened, this could only point to tremendous Haki. Mihawk most certainly wields Haki of all types, with advanced Conqueror's Haki a guarantee for him. His duels with Shanks mean that he is almost as strong, but while he has better sword skills, Shanks has better Haki.

Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro

Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro is one of the Five Elders, and definitely one who has stood out among the Elders for the fans. For a while, Nusjuro was the only swordsman of the Gorosei, until the inclusion of Garling Figarland.

Nevertheless, Nusjuro is very skilled with the sword, especially since he wields the Shodai Kitetsu. He used his tremendous Haki in Egghead on multiple occasions, and on top of that, fans also saw him clash easily with Zoro, who was powered up by Jinbe.

Kozuki Oden

Kozuki Oden was one of the highlights of the Wano arc. Fans quickly came to love Oden's character throughout the arc. Having first traveled with Whitebeard, Oden then carried on with the Roger Pirates. Through his flashback, fans saw him clash with many powerful individuals, including Roger and Whitebeard. When he returned to Wano, he was an elite pirate, many times stronger than before.

His Haki was such that it was able to penetrate Kaido's defense and leave a permanent scar on him, almost killing him in the process. Kaido himself considers Oden to be one of the five strongest he's ever seen.

Silvers Rayleigh

Silvers Rayleigh was a part of one of One Piece’s greatest pirate crews, the Roger Pirates. Rayleigh is old in the current One Piece timeline, but he is still incredibly strong. Just like the other Roger pirates, Rayleigh doesn’t possess Devil Fruit powers and instead relies on Haki.

He wields Haki of all kinds, and fans know his Conqueror's Haki is immensely powerful. Rayleigh was able to defeat Sommers, halt an Admiral, and even scare off a Yonko all with his Haki.

King Harald

Rocks attacks Harald in elbaf

Harald has become a familiar figure for fans through the Elbaf flashback. It was revealed that Harald, the King of Elbaf, was the strongest King to ever rule the land of Giants. Harald was shown wielding a sword and his weapon of choice.

This was showcased when he was able to go toe to toe with Rocks D. Xebec and be called his equal. Harald’s Haki was definitely impressive, being one of the greatest in the world, and fans hope to see more of it in the upcoming chapters.

Rocks D. Xebec

Rocks D. Xebec’s name has become a legend in One Piece. Xebec was able to lead the likes of Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaido, all under one flag — that of the Rocks Pirates. As fans now know, Xebec never ate a Devil Fruit, and his insane strength came from his Haki.

Rocks’s Haki was so great that he was able to easily defeat an Admiral and even Garling Figarland. Xebec was even able to resist Imu’s control for some time through his Haki, even though he ended up succumbing to it at the end. His Haki was also known to create special shockwaves that hit like a hammer or cannonball.

Gol D. Roger

The late Pirate King, Gol D. Roger was definitely a force to be reckoned with. Roger proved himself as a monster by conquering the Grand Line and finding the One Piece, all by just relying on his sword Ace, and his Haki.

As a pirate of the highest order, Roger wielded all three types of Haki, and fans even saw him clash with the likes of Whitebeard. In fact, Roger's Haki was so great that it pierced through immortality and killed Rocks D. Xebec’s Domi Reversi form.

Shanks

If there’s one character, especially among swordsmen, that fans immediately think of when Haki is mentioned, it’s definitely Shanks. Shanks has proven on multiple occasions that his Haki is immense. He is a master of all three types of Haki, and fans know very well that his Conqueror's Haki is on the next level.

Shanks has the best Haki feats, be it one-shotting Kid and Killer at once with a single attack, or paralyzing and hurting an Admiral with Haki from miles away. Shanks is a monster when it comes to Haki, above all, his Haki was directly compared to Joy Boy during Egghead, which goes to show that it is truly immense.
