Eiichiro Oda's One Piece is the best-selling manga in the whole world, and by far. One Piece has dominated the industry when it comes to overall numbers, but in recent years, it would seem that sales are dwindling. One Piece was falling short of expectations, being beaten by newer series like Jujutsu Kaisen or Demon Slayer.
After 15 Years, Oda Finally Shows The True Power Of Haki In One Piece
Oda made a major reveal about Haki. The true power of haki has been revealed in One Piece.
Nevertheless, One Piece volume 113, the newest volume of the series, has proven once again why One Piece is the king of manga. In just one week, One Piece volume 113 racked in over 600k sales in copies, which is the highest of the week, and a step up from One Piece volume 112. Fans are definitely impressed and are hoping the series’ sales recover to what they used to be a few years ago.
One Piece 113 Dominates Oricon's Top 10 Weekly Chart
Oricon's Top 10 Weekly Chart for the dates of November 3 to November 9 has finally been revealed, and as expected, One Piece is dominating it. As One Piece’s most recent volume hit the market, it was featured on the chart, and it's safe to say that the numbers have been very impressive.
In just one week, One Piece volume 113 has managed to amass almost 620k in sales, which is quite impressive. This number is only going to grow, and at this rate, this volume will most definitely surpass the one million mark.
It's Official, An Old Anime Has Finally Beaten One Piece
One Piece is the king of manga, but it has underperformed in 2025 compared to this old anime.
One Piece’s numbers are even more impressive when compared to how other series performed this week. The second-highest entry was Chainsaw Man, and it only amassed 90k extra sales. Of course, Chainsaw Man doesn’t have any new volume this month, but it did drop its volume in October, and its hot movie release, Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc, is definitely increasing backlog sales. All the other series aside from Chainsaw Man, which include the likes of Kingdom, SpyxFamily, and Demon Slayer, don’t even break the 60k mark.
One Piece Sales Are Recovering With Volume 113
Over the last few years, there has been a growing concern among the fans when it comes to the sales of the One Piece series. For a few volumes now, sales have been considerably down compared to before. Since it's One Piece, sales were still way higher than the average series, but they simply weren’t as good as they used to be a few years ago.
Thankfully, it seems there is some recovery brought in by the Elbaf arc. While One Piece volume 112 only sold 540k in its first week, One Piece 113 had almost 100k more than that, which is a big step up. This goes to show how invested fans have been in Oda's latest Elbaf arc, as well as the growing fan interest in the final saga. Fans do hope One Piece peaks again with its sales to a level similar to Marineford.
