The One Piece manga is currently in the Elbaf arc, which has quickly become a fan favorite, and for multiple reasons. Elbaf saw the proper introduction of the Holy Knights, the reveal of much-needed world lore, and even the entrance of Saint Imu directly. Elbaf even started a legendary flashback, that of Loki and King Harald. Naturally, with so many elements at play here, Oda was bound to reveal some very strong individuals, and as it just so happens, he's revealed a whole family the strength of which might be comparable to the Monkey D. Family itself.

The Monkey D. Family Is Powerful
Its Known Members Are Luffy, Garp, and Dragon
There are many powerful families in the One Piece world, but one that stands out immediately is, undoubtedly, the Monkey D. Family.
The Monkey D. Family features some very powerful people. So far, only three members of this family have been revealed, with all of them being immensely powerful. The first one is, of course, Monkey D. Luffy, the main character of the series. Luffy is a powerhouse, and has showcased immense progress over the last few years. He has even become a Yonko after defeating Kaido.
The second member is Monkey D. Garp. Garp was possibly the strongest Marine ever, being known as the Hero of the Marines, and he was so strong that he had an equal rivalry with Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. Garp has fought a lot of powerful enemies, and while he isn’t in his prime anymore, he’s still quite strong even now.
The final known member of this family is Monkey D. Dragon, Luffy’s father and Garp’s son. Dragon is a character that has yet to be seen in full action so far in the series. But, fans know for a fact that he is very powerful. After all, he is the Supreme Commander of the Revolutionary Army, an organization whose goal is to take down the Celestial Dragons.

The Monkey D. Family is definitely very strong, but it doesn’t mean that no other family out there in One Piece can compete with them. The Rocks family has the potential to be even greater.
The Rocks name is quite legendary in One Piece. Previously, the only member of the Rocks family was, of course, Rocks D. Xebec, a pirate whose legacy is only surpassed by Roger. Rocks was at the helm of the craziest pirate crew ever, the Rocks Pirates. This pirate crew housed powerhouses like Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido, and Shiki.
Xebec aside, now, Oda has revealed a new member of this family, and that is Teach, also known as Blackbeard. Both Rocks and Teach are very powerful, and have the potential to conquer the world in their own era.

Sanji already has a huge bounty, but his next one is set up to be very high in One Piece.
Another member of this family could be Buggy, who, although not strong himself, has Mihawk and Crocodile under him. But, most importantly, Oda recently hinted that Davy Jones, who was likely around during the Void Century, might be from this family too, and that's an individual that the whole pirate world pays tribute to.
