Loungefly's One Piece tie-ins have been a fixture of pop culture retail for a while now, with the company's catalog already packed with Straw Hat drops and convention exclusives, ranging from an SDCC denim drawstring backpack to various pins and lanyards. Loungefly’s New One Piece Collection Adds Glow-Up Accessories With Tight Edition Sizes
The NYCC collection of Loungefly's One Piece merch consists of four products, which The Best War Games can exclusively reveal: a mini backpack, zip wallet, sliding pin, and a card holder with a lanyard. As is typical for convention-exclusive offerings, the edition sizes are limited; only 600 lanyard-and-card holder sets are being produced, along with 700 sliding pins and 800 zip wallets. Conversely, the newly revealed One Piece backpack will have a run of 900 units.
All four products from the upcoming line are adorned by One Piece's Gear 5 Luffy. The mini backpack comes with a $90 price tag, while the sliding pin and zip wallet will retail for $20 and $40, respectively. The Luffy-themed card holder with a lanyard will be priced at $9.50. Each accessory features iridescent finishes with applique and debossed details, as well as elements that glow in the dark.
The 2025 edition of New York Comic Con is scheduled to run from October 9 through 12. It's taking place in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. Loungefly's new collection will be exclusively available to convention attendees, of which hundreds of thousands are expected this year. Given the constrained availability, collectors will likely need to plan early to secure favorites.
