Right now, all the major organizations are vying for power, and at the same time, they know very well that all of them have powerful leaders at the helm.

Monkey D. Dragon is strong, but he will be defeated in One Piece.
As far as the Navy goes, the one to lead them in what can be considered to be the most turbulent era of all time is none other than Akainu. At some point, fans expect Akainu to confront Luffy and fall, but it seems Oda has other plans.

Ever since Akainu was first introduced in One Piece, it became increasingly clear that Oda wanted him to be one of the main villains. Not only is his demeanor like that of a villain, but at the same time, he also has a big rivalry with Luffy. Akainu wanted to kill Luffy at the end of the Marineford arc, but he failed to do so due to the support that Luffy had. He still aims to kill Luffy, and the latter hasn't forgotten about him either.

Luffy might have survived the Marineford arc, but his brother, Ace, didn't. As fans know, Ace gave up his life to save his brother and this was incredibly traumatic for Luffy. Fans know very well that Luffy got stronger specifically so he doesn't have to lose anyone again. Given the trauma that Akainu caused Luffy, most fans would assume that he will be the one to defeat Akainu. However, that role belongs to someone else.

Sabo Will Fight Akainu
Sabo Has Inherited The Will Of Ace
The person who will go on to fight, and most likely defeat, Akainu is none other than Sabo. Right now, Sabo is the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army, and while he isn't against the Navy necessarily, fans know very well that he won't let them harm Luffy, or stand in his way at all. Sabo is also one of One Piece's most important characters in the Final Saga. Most importantly, Sabo carries Ace's Devil Fruit and he often speaks to his flames as if Ace were inside.
It's Time To Meet The Only One Piece Pirate That Can Beat Imu
Imu is powerful, and only one pirate can even stand up against them in One Piece.

Sabo knows very well what happened during the Paramount War, and he most likely had a grudge against Akainu. More than that, if Akainu targets Luffy, Sabo will have no choice but to fight. Ace's flames, burning inside Sabo, won't be satisfied until Sakazuki falls.
Luffy Will Fight Imu
Luffy Vs Akainu would, most certainly, be an amazing battle. But, if Luffy already has Imu and even Blackbeard to deal with, then someone else will have to step up, and that person is most likely going to be Sabo. It is only a matter of time before this battle unfolds and fans absolutely cannot wait.
