One Piece is currently in the Elbaf arc, and fans know very well that here, Oda is only going to reveal bigger threats and bigger secrets. Although Elbaf is only in its initial stages right now, Oda has already revealed the greatest threat in the One Piece world here, and that is Imu.
One Piece: Oda Might Have Already Revealed Who Luffy Will End Up With, And It Isn't Nami
Romance is not a huge focus in One Piece, but Oda has hinted at who Luffy will end up with.
With Imu, Oda has also introduced some members of the Holy Knights, all of whom are known to be incredibly powerful. Naturally, to beat enemies as strong as them, one needs to fight with immense strength, and most importantly, powerful Haki. Oda has given special attention to Haki in this arc, and it seems that in doing so, he has also confirmed characters who are far stronger than the likes of former Yonko Big Mom and Kaido.
The Previous Yonko Had Limitations

When it comes to the previous Yonko group, fans know they were made of Kaido, Big Mom, Blackbeard, and Shanks. Putting aside Blackbeard, who only recently joined the group, the veterans here are Kaido and Big Mom, who have held the position for decades. Both of these Yonko boasted tremendous strength. In fact, Kaido was called the strongest creature in the world. And Big Mom was quite easily the strongest woman in the world of One Piece.

Both Kaido and Big Mom were heavily reliant on their Devil Fruits, but their Haki was great as well. Kaido especially excelled at using Conqueror's Haki, and fans saw him show his superiority to Luffy in that department in Wano. That said, even Kaido's advanced Haki wasn't as advanced as fans had thought. Now, Oda has introduced characters who possess even more advanced Haki than these two former Yonko.

Oda introduced Scopper Gaban in the Elbaf arc of One Piece, and through him, he revealed advanced levels of Conqueror's Haki. As the Holy Knights and the Five Elders started becoming prominent enemies in the Final Saga, Oda had to introduce a teacher for Luffy to learn how to beat them. Gaban is here to play that very role. As seen previously, Gaban can clearly injure the Holy Knights, and all that is possible thanks to Conqueror's Haki. Gaban's Conqueror's Haki is clearly on the next level, similar to Joy Boy, who used it to hurt the Five Elders and even Imu.

One Piece: Oda Might Have Already Revealed Luffy's Mom, And It Was Right In Front Of Our Eyes
Who Luffy's mom is is a huge mystery - but Oda might have already revealed who she is in One Piece.
In fact, Gaban's technique, called Divine Ax Symphony, is very similar to Roger and Shanks's Divine Departure. Both are infused with a stronger type of Conqueror's Haki that Kaido and Big Mom didn't possess. This is why Shanks was able to one-shot Kid while Kaido and Big Mom couldn't. Gaban and Rayleigh possess Haki that is on the same tier as Roger, and far above the likes of Kaido and Big Mom. In their primes, they were stronger than the Yonko.
Shanks Is The Exception
Out of the old Yonko, Shanks is the only exception, and this is because he's a monstrously powerful user of Haki himself. Shanks is incredibly strong, and right now, his Haki is the strongest among the pirates. It is only a matter of time before Oda shows his full strength, and confirms to the fans that he is, indeed on the same level as Roger.
