So far, fans have only seen a small glimpse of Imu's powers in One Piece, but whatever little Oda has shown already tells the fans that they're incredibly overpowered. Allow Mu to show thee the dominance of a God! — Imu
They used rather complex magic-like abilities, and with them, they could turn enemies into demon allies. Imu can grant immortality to people and great strength, all in exchange for a certain amount of their lifespan. Imu also summons things out of their magic circles, and all that is only the tip of the iceberg. Fans know for a fact that Imu also has other powers that they will inevitably end up using during the fight vs Luffy, but so far, this is what Oda has made known.

Gaban Confirms the Weakness of The Holy Knights
Up until now, fans weren't exactly sure what the weakness of the Immortality and the regeneration of the Holy Knights was. But, now, thanks to Scopper Gaban, it has finally been confirmed. As revealed in One Piece chapter 1152, the only way to take down the Holy Knights and the Five Elders, as well as Imu is to use Conqueror's Haki. However, regular usage of Conqueror's Haki Infusion won't do. This Haki needs to be very refined, and at the same time, it most likely also needs to target the soul of the Holy Knights first of all. If all that is well and truly accomplished, then one can damage them without issues. This also means that Imu's biggest weakness is Conqueror's Haki.
