This article contains spoilers from One Piece's Elbaf Arc.
One Piece chapter 1155 dropped recently and it is quite easy to say that this chapter might just be the greatest that Oda has drawn in quite a while. After finally having revealed Rocks D. Xebec, it goes without saying that fans were over the moon, knowing that more of Rocks was about to be revealed in the story.
One Piece: Oda Confirms The Strongest Pirate In The Entire World, And It's Not Roger
Roger is strong, but there's one pirate who was even stronger than him in One Piece.
Oda did just that in One Piece chapter 1155, and the entire incident at the Reverie from 56 years ago was perfectly elaborated upon. Rocks's true strength was displayed in the chapter, but more than that, Oda also went on to reveal a legendary character who could use Conqueror's Haki and stood on par with Rocks.
Rocks D. Xebec Had A Conqueror's Haki Clash With King Harald

- Rocks And Harald Clashed After
Quite clearly, One Piece chapter 1155 gave the fans a good glimpse of what Rocks D. Xebec did in Marijoa. Rocks is known to be tremendously powerful, and this is no secret. In the previous chapter, it was stated that Rocks actually went on to kill a Navy Admiral during the Reverie. But, this chapter elaborated upon the event, and fans now know that there is much more to the fight than just that. Rocks D. Xebec didn't just fight the Admiral. He then went on to meet with Imu and promised him that he would return for the throne. More than that, Rocks then went on to clash with King Harald from Elbaf, and it was truly shocking, to say the least.
He's the one who kidnapped the 5 kings. I'll show him! — Harald
Whereas the Admiral of the Navy was absolutely no match for Rocks D. Xebec, Harald was able to hold his own and impressively maintain his standing. The clash was so powerful that everyone in the surrounding area was blown away, and it was truly a clash of equals. At the same time, Rocks gained immense respect for Harald, and this confirms that they weren't so far apart in terms of power.
Rocks Came To Respect Harald's Strength
Rocks Sought Out King Harald
In One Piece chapter 1154, fans saw Rocks D. Xebec come to Elbaf, and the reason is finally clear now. Rocks wanted to recruit Harald for the Rocks Pirates crew, simply because he was so mesmerized by his power. This was after Rocks had the likes of Whitebeard and Shiki on his crew, which means that Harald was just that impressive to him.
One Piece: Oda Has Already Revealed The Second Son Of Rocks D. Xebec, And It Is A Yonko
Blackbeard is confirmed as Rocks's son, but another Yonko might also be this legend's child in One Piece.
Voha ha ha ha! State your name, I'm Rocks! — Rocks To Harald
Rocks And Harald Could've Taken Over The World
Had Harald joined Rocks, the latter believed that the two could've taken over the whole world and most certainly been able to defeat Imu. Clearly, this just goes to show that Harald was no pushover. He could've beaten Admirals and stood on the same footing as the Yonko of the world if not higher. Hopefully, fans will get another display of his strength later down the line.
