The likes of the Sun God Nika have already established themselves in the story with great authority, but there are certainly others that fans want the story to focus on. In the Elbaf arc specifically, Oda introduced the concept of Harley, and in it, the existence of many Gods was essentially confirmed. Now that One Piece is heading deep into the Final Saga, it is only a matter of time before fans get to see the other Gods revealed, specifically the Forest and the Sea God.

When the concept of the Sun God was first revealed in One Piece, fans didn't know exactly what to think about it. However, now that the idea has had time to settle, fans know that introducing the Sun God Nika is one of the best things Oda could've done for his story. The lore surrounding the Sun God Nika and even Joy Boy that has resulted from this decision has truly been fascinating, to say the least.

The Forest God wove its magic and sent forth demons. — Harley

The Sun God Nika was revealed to the fans during the Wano Country arc of One Piece, and as the story moved forward, the existence of the other Gods was also hinted at. For instance, Oda revealed that other gods exist in the One Piece world along with Nika. The Earth God seems to be the oldest of the lot, having existed in the First World and playing a direct role in the destruction of the whole world.

In the Second World, fans know that the Forest God was an important figure, being labeled directly responsible for creating the Devil Fruit and sending forth demons. And finally, there is the Sea God, who rampaged after Joy Boy was slain in the Second World. Curiously enough, the identity of the Forest and the Sea God night already be clear in One Piece.

It goes without saying that the Sea God is going to be very important in the grand scheme of things. Fans know that the Sea God is said to have raged after humanity became Gods and Joy Boy died in the Second World. This leads one to believe that the Sea God could've been an ally of Joy Boy. More than that, there is already a Sea God in One Piece and its name is Poseidon.

Fans know Poseidon to be a God of the Sea, and it is highly likely that the Sea God in the Harley refers to the previous Mermaid Princess. As to why the Sea God could've played a part in the destruction of the world, the idea is simple. The Sea God is an Ancient Weapon. If the Sea God isn't utilized correctly, the world will be doomed and this is what Otohime said as well. Joy Boy's death likely caused the Sea God to rage and play a part in the destruction of the world.

Who Could The Forest God Be?

While the identity of the Sea God is already quite clear in One Piece, fans know little about the Forest God. But, this person is linked to the Devil Fruits, and that much is a given. The Forest God sent forth demons, as fans know, and this can only mean that the Forest God is someone with scientific prowess. After all, Devil Fruits are a result of hope born into the world, likely using the advanced technology that was prominent during the Void Century. Perhaps, a scientist akin to Vegapunk was the Forest God. It is also possible that some Shandian was the Forest God, and this is based on the idea that Shandians have White Trees that hold the soul of the deceased.

If these trees hold on to the desires of the deceased and form Devil Fruits, then the one behind this creation, likely a Shandian, could potentially be the Forest God as well.

Either way, the Forest God is the creator of the Devil Fruit and someone with vast scientific knowledge, while the Sea God is quite clearly the former Mermaid Princess who allied with Joy Boy.

One Piece chapter 1146 will be out very soon, later this week. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on the upcoming Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12AM JST on Monday. However, the vast majority of international readers will see the chapter available on April 20. The official release date of One Piece Chapter 1146 is April 20, 2025.
