Being such a notorious figure, he is certain to have a very high bounty, but not higher than the Pirate King like many fans believe. Dragon will most likely have a massive bounty close to 5 billion berries, but it is unlikely to be greater than that of Roger.

Monkey D. Dragon Will Have One Of The Highest Bounties

Monkey D. Dragon is a legendary figure in the One Piece world at the moment and he, along with his Revolutionary Army, is one of the biggest threats that the World Government is facing. It has been decades since Dragon was first introduced, but Oda has still not revealed his full bounty. The reveal of his new bounty will definitely be big, and while one can’t say exactly how high it will be, there is definitely a range that would make perfect sense.

Monkey D. Dragon is a huge threat, one bigger than even the Yonko when it comes to the World Government. Dragon has been directly attacking and interfering with the World Government, which definitely makes him someone they want taken down. However, while he’s a big threat, he doesn’t know everything there is to know about the One Piece history, unlike someone like Roger. For one, Dragon didn’t even know about Imu’s existence until Sabo told him.

A bounty isn't all about strength, but also about how dangerous someone is to the World Government. Even if Dragon is opposing the Government, he doesn't know what Roger knew. This means that a good range for Dragon would be between 4.7 billion berries to 5.4 billion. His bounty is likely to be higher than the Yonko, with the only one who could be higher than him being Whitebeard and the Pirate King Roger.

Dragon’s Bounty Might Be Revealed Soon

Bounty Reveal Could Come After the Events of Elbaf

Dragon’s bounty will be a very exciting reveal, but when exactly it will be revealed remains a mystery. It is very likely to be revealed soon, after Elbaf concludes, to be specific. Dragon will probably get a new bounty following the attack on Marijoa, and the number will finally be showcased to fans alongside other new Bounties for the likes of Sabo and the Revolutionary Army Commanders. After all, the story is now in its final saga, and Oda has to reveal all major bounties soon, which includes that of Monkey D. Dragon.

One Piece Chapter 1159 will be out this week. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12 AM JST on Monday. However, the vast majority of international readers will see the chapter available on August 31. The official release date of One Piece Chapter 1159 is September 7, 2025.
