2025 has turned out to be an excellent year for One Piece fans. Both the anime and the manga have been releasing top-notch content, which is extremely rare. Currently, the anime is covering the Egghead arc, in which the Straw Hats fight their way through a bunch of powerful enemies.

On the other hand, the One Piece manga is focused on the Elbaf arc. So far, the arc has been nothing short of amazing. One of the main reasons for it being a hit is the Holy Knights. The Holy Knights are among the main antagonists of the Elbaf arc. They serve Imu, and their main priority is fulfilling the sovereign's wishes. When the Holy Knights were introduced, they looked menacing. They had a certain aura, which made them an instant hit with the fans.

One Piece Fans Were Unhappy With Oda's Choices

Oda's Color Selection For Holy Knights Was Odd

Recently, the official X (formerly Twitter) account for One Piece shared the cover for the manga's 113th volume. The cover featured Luffy, Scopper Gaban, and the Holy Knights. The cover looks fabulous, but fans have some gripes about it. The main issue that fans have with the cover is the color scheme of the Holy Knights, as they were expecting the villains to have darker shades, but Oda went in the opposite direction.

This isn't the first time that fans have been upset with Oda's choices. Before the Holy Knights, they had an issue with Loki's color scheme. When the video was released, fans saw that Oda had initially selected better colors than what he eventually decided.

However, the color scheme of the Holy Knights isn't too bad. Shamrock's attire looks good, and so does Gunko's. On the other hand, Shepherd Sommers' and Killingham's colors are a bit odd. Now that Oda has decided the colors, there's nothing that fans can do but hope that the author makes better decisions next time.

The manga is still covering the God Valley Incident, but the story will return to present-day Elbaf, where the Straw Hats face another life-threatening situation. They must take down the Holy Knights as well as Imu if they are to save Elbaf from complete annihilation.

So far, the Holy Knights have dominated the proceedings, and they have given the heroes no space to maneuver. But fans have not lost hope. They believe that the Straw Hat Pirates have got what it takes to beat the Holy Knights and save the country from destruction.
